Better have dual audio tracks *shakes fist*
As sad as I am to say this, if they made a remake of FFVI on 3DS, I'd buy a 3DS. I remember trying FFIII on a former GFs DS, and was really impressed.
I remember when this game came out and I was making fun of it because I viewed it as Sony's poor attempt to make some money off the FF craze at the time. My room mate LOVED the game, I just couldn't get into it.
I, on the other hand, would like to see a "refresh" of FFVI, in the likes of FFIV Complete Collection for the PSP/PSV. Or better yet *feels a stirring in his pants* a complete remake.
Cheers.
I simply won't pull my punches here, Shift 2 (at least the console version) looks and runs like a bag of ass. Plus from what I know about games, the assets are pretty much the same for the PC albeit using higher resolution for the objects, so it still most likely looks and runs like a bag of ass.
I was excited to get Shift 2 for free through PS+, then I played it... ugh.
It frightens me that young gamers are getting their world history education through video games like these.
I wonder if you'll be able to airstrike civilians in this game like the US does on a daily basis to get the "But I swear, bad dudes where there..." Trophy.
Can't wait for "Don't Fall of The Subway Platform" and "Vehicular Chicken".
I LOLed. Thank you sir.
Wow thats pricey. One can pick up a BMW Design Thermaltake case for that price. Don't get me wrong I like this LL but it should not cost more than $150.
What would be the point to have systems on the market that use smiliar tech and simply crunch licensed pre developed engines like UNreal or Cryengine? All that does is kill innovation when it comes to building engines from the ground up, and we as gamers loose, while publishers get richer because its cheaper to pump out the apps all while spinning this 'oh it costs so much to make games, poor us, buy DLC!'.
I don't want some cookie cutter Direct3D bullshit running...
oh sir, thats a fracking idea and a half!
I just watched the I'm Han Solo video on gametrailers.com and vomited in my mouth a little.
EEhhhhhh, yes and no.
I'm with you 100% in regards to waiting on ultimate editions which are usually half the price of the original retail price. But at the end of the day people like you and I make up a small part of the games consumer base. The problem, and the reason DLC won't go away any time soon, a large portion of the demographic are squatters (I'm sure marketing has a particular term for this). It individuals that "buy" a game and then sit on it ...
Yeah, and used game sales are the new pandemic plaguing poor poor publishers. Ohhh those poor publishers!
Generally when things like assets are created for games, they are created at a much higher quality than the platform it is being created for can run. This is done for scaling as its much easier to remove the quality and complexity of something than add to it. Hence one would think that with more powerful hardware, at least where we are getting to, it is more likely that ...
Ahhhh Japanese Culture, still keeping it classy I see with depictions like these with a prepubescent asthetic. Hio-fivo!
the NES Google Maps is the best one so far in my opinion. Blow into the cartridge, classic.
Patiently waiting for may 1 and mk. Other than that....psone classics! Sony! Bro, come on!
A Wednesday release for the NA? okay sure, hopefully it'll be the Tuesday, but I'm game.
So things are being talked about like there are some factual specs out for the PS3 successor. Last time I checked it was all a rumor. For all we know it could be some hybrid configuration like we have now, just moar. 4 core power pc with a bunch of cell chips taped together with a new graphics chip: something like that could emulate PS3 but probably cost a penny or two.
Until we hear specs from the horse's mouth, there should be no assumption. And I'm sure as soon as...
now thats a proper drop! Imagine if instead of Amalur we got a open world spawn game of the same caliber. *shivers*
:( I just went onto the store and its not there...booooo. Probably this upcoming Tuesday. A PSV version would be nice.
