You are right, and I understand the problem. There could be some sort of sync authentication between the PSV and the install card, but that would create another slew of issues.

Yeah, alot of clowns in the gaming media are messing this up, and it almost seems like its on purpose.
I wish the option was there to install all retail games to the memory card. It looks like I'll have to jump on this digital distribution train, albeit not being a fan.
It my opinion it would be a game changer if, for instance, the next COD title for PS3/360 got a port on PSV with transfarring, and this copy would somehow be bundled with the PS3 version. ie. PS3 ver w/ PSV port 79.99 PSV port by itself 29.99. Just a rough example so you get the picture.

I agree. I messed around with the Gravity Daze demo at a Best Buy, and the web videos don't even come close to seeing it in person. Crisp, almost...too crisp.
Vita here with a Xperia Play as a phone/messenger/wifi hotspot. Stick that, argument for gaming on a phone/tablet, in your pipe and smoke it :D.

Just went into a local eBGames to pick up a starter kit and for shits and giggles I asked how the Vita sales are looking at the location (at least respective to the first edition bundle): sold out!

Some of us like to mix it up. Currently I just started Farcry 2 because it was free on PS+ after burning myself out on DA:Origins, all while knocking away on Chrono Cross on my PSP.
Don't mean to be a douche, and you're not saying this to this degree, but this argument of classics not having a place in today's gamer's lives is unfounded. I don't game on 3DS, but I sure hope its fans have access to SNES games.

I'm being very vocal about the PSOne classics (I know its coming) being patched ASAP and am very surprised this feature appears not to be ready for launch. As for the PS2 games, I really would like to see it, but from a technical standpoint when it comes to emulating the PS2 hardware...maybe that is the problem. PS3 games: there is remote play, and Sony should really get their shit together on this, as its an outstanding feature, and as seen with the CFW videos, possible without developer...

I went to my local EBGames today to ask if they had any news on the PSV kiosks coming to the store. Dude's like "no sorry man, but we just got ours from head office if you want to see...". Really looking forward to the FPS move integration. As for the 3D, its most likely the 'multiplat' 3D implementation and not true stereo. Hopefully I'm wrong on the second part as I'm a big fan of 3D, but not ghosting. (This is by no means implying the ghosting is the product of 'multiplat' or non-stereo 3D, as ghosting even rears in ugly head in games like Uncharted 3).

Agreed. I have two 4g cards due to 1.starter pack 2.promo at retailer: waste of time, swapping out these tiny things is donkey balls if you have regular sized (read: not tiny) hands. 32g either tonight or tomorrow.
offtopic: Sony needs to bring out a PSV content manager app for Android.
