They would have to be stupid not to feel threatened...They are probably looking at their numbers right now....asking...do we need a price cut or do we need to respond to that?
Yes they have the lead but that can (but not necessarily will) change quickly....
Do they need to do a price cut? Hard to say....if they want to make sure they remain dominant yes...or maybe a bundle at same price would be pretty agressive.
However, i think it will be f...
exactly...xbox is gaining a lot of momentum since Phil Spencer is head of xbox....and with the recent announcements...This E3 will be even more important than last year for both companies.....will have to wait and see for that....
Sony could go bankrupt but they would spin off their Playstation division(which is doing very good) before that....They are already getting rid of the non-profitable side of their business (Vaio was one)...Tv might be next (profit margin on tv has b...
Actually most of those features are available here in canada since end of march (including one guide)
I am pretty sure the guys making the games always want better hardware but the finance guys at the top of the company are looking at numbers and see the difference in install base and find it hard sometimes to justify a next gen version of a game.
Of course install base is not the only part of the equation even though it's an important one. I think the early adopters are most the ones most likely to buy games. Then again it depends on the type of game. I think for so...
One of my friends bought the game and told me it was actually very good game...So i purchased him on day on and played some gladiator fights with him and was a lot of fun....I gotta admit that the multiplayer gets a little redundant but the single player story and gameplay are really worth to experience. I don't think the combat gets repetitive in the campaign since it's not long enough to make it repetitive.
for me works really well....could have a little problem here and there but its a lot faster than using a controller, or remote control for tv, amplifier.....it does everything at the same time....with the may update its even faster than it was...the moment you say xbox on...it turns on TV, amplifier/receiver and cable box immediatly...very impressive tech
I don't think they will have any trailer or anything to show for gears...a little too soon...maybe some update on the developper and where they are at?
I think you might be generailizing a bit....i have seen many people that want the system but believe it to be expensive at this point...and lets face it, people that buy either console at this stage are usually more harcore gamers. Its a reason why microsoft should appeal to harcore gamers first to get a decent market share size.....casual will get into the system eventually....
I gotta agree too...everytime i go to another room to watch tv or to someones house, i expect them to have voice commands lol....and i gotta say that the kinect seems to be working a lot better than at launch....it happens rarely that it does not recognize s command...
Xbox has had that for a while and it works fairly well. It is moderated by xboxlive so people don't abuse and it sure makes for a better experience because people that rage quit/cheat are gonna be low rated and end up playing against each other. Most people don't usually bother reporting because you have to go in recent players, pick the right person et cast a vote that is moderated after.. If a person sends u a recorded hate message, it makes it fairly easy for them to get caught if...
If you are commenting on site like this, your probably not a casual gamer and own more than 2-3 games...
Pakua is right though....attachment rate of games to PS3 were a lot lower than xbox360...its seems they however increased this number with PS4
Yeah a lot of their plans were not explained initially and they should have made it clear. i believe they should have continued to support disc based games the way it was and simply push digital more with agressive pricing and the 10 friend digital sharing they had (but did not explain outside of a little memo). That would be the best way to minimize the used game market. I loved that they talked only games at E3 but they should have adressed or take time to explain their idea which they di...
one thing we don't know about is that in the Titanfall bundles, the game come in digital download and not retail so we do not know if those count towards the retail numbers, or if they count the bundle as a retail game sold. I do not think they know which bundle was sold so I am assuming that the game bundled in the package are not counted for retail.
you are right....I think people are making too big a deal of this...I think it's a fun feature but it is in no way necessary...I think BC can be good for people that made the switch from one console to the competitor so they get to try games from the last few years they might have missed...
I personally thought it was cool to have that on my 360 and Wii but you go back to these games you end up playing once for an hour and then let it collect dust...
Let's fac...
If you are referring to the announcement we heard, that was for last week, these are thhe numbers for 2 weeks ago if you notice there is no elders scroll on the lost which finished first last week.
Actually about 50 countries for Sony. However microsoft launched in their main market and the other markets won't give them as much sales. However he gap in sales would probably be a lot smaller than 2 million if they had launched everwhere.
People don't seem to understand...build is for devs...of course we got to hear about everything discussed there and websites use it for flamebait
This conference is aimed at devs and not us "common folk"... They do have to explain their products and vision to devellopers if they want them to make games for the platform.
If you read the article... You would have noticed they said 1080p 30fps locked for both consoles.
you are right....
content on consoles is way more important than graphics performance (especially when the difference is not that much)...If you want graphics...PC is always there...
but price was a big difference for people that were on the fence of getting either console, let's face it most people don't come on these websites comparing Resolution and FPS....people buy content and features...not resolution/fps
