not true. the reason half of my extended family owns a ps4 is because that was the only way we could all play together. when that happens that means sony makes the profit from console sales. which in turn allows them to invest in big budget games. don't fool yourself by thinking it's good for the industry.
Sony understands this.
if it's not their product they would be smart to stay away from crossplay.
could care less. When i play i play whomever i play whenever i play. i own a ps4 so any games i play i find servers and no wait time to play. my friends are all on PSN.

and leading companies shouldn't have to lose profit because the weaker companies don't have the capacity to fill servers.

but I am a fanboy of ND, and get what you're saying. as much as i love seeing new footage and could never not watch it, it would be nice to be surprised. at least for the state of play stream.

hahahahahaha!! Sony is showing The Last Of Us 2 on the 24th. you wouldn't have these games without a full purchase model. 3 million players at $1 subscription and many of them just subbing to play the story and nothing else means MS must be losing a tone of money on this game.

the way sony studios work is they help each other and show and share techniques, ideas and technology.
the more people that share ideas and tech the better the product can be especially when you already have a good studio at the helm. that's the difference between MS and Sony.

3 million x 10$ = $30 million. that's a month of subscriptions, many of whom are already subscribers. Some of the new subs for the game will play the story only, and then not renew the sub at the end of their monthly sub service.
I don't know how they can maintain this level of gaming production at such a loss.

@mandingo That's what is soo puzzling to me. I have, and have seen comments that have been tagged "Inappropriate" that were hardly that at all. Or were appropriate for the approved article click bait/console war, news/opinion piece. Another thing that puzzles me is the lack of consistency the moderators show when they do it.
