it's a children's console with children's games. so i can see how it is easy to "WOW" the kids.
but we're talking about wowing adults which is harder to do.
the last state of play had a few games that i want, including a vr game.

it was and is about the exclusive games people. that and not being an A$$ like.....
my point is if an episode of State Of Play was great because Sony added a AAA game to it, you can't just say "take that away and it was just ok".
it was a whole package. if you take away many things from a production, no matter what field it's in, you can say it was MEH! without it.
this State Of Play was great. and The Last Of Us just made it that much better.
The Last Of Us 2 was a part of the stream so judge it as a whole.

MS has been promising games for a long time and Gear 5 is the only one that seems to be good, depending on your point of view. but the consensus see it that way.
let's hope these companies are given the resources to fulfill their creative juices.

yes, but as a reviewer you need to take into account that it may not be your type of game. so if a game runs smoothly and has a decent story with decent mechanics it should at least be an average game. but dipping it below the midway point usually means it has something else wrong.
i have heard decent reviews about the game with people, even if they didn't like the game so much, saying it's a ok game with this or that going for it. but a 4 to me means don't buy it because...
it would be awesome if they gave a release date and then said "play MP open beta right now".
