Ken Kutagari knew what he was doing, look at the succes he brought with PS/PS2. The PS3 might have had a slow start, but I bet you that it will pay off in the future.
I am not that impress with the video's we have seen of Killzone 2. It must be due to the 05 trailer putting high expectation on the visuals and graphics. I know the game is till in pre-alpha and it looks great, but I expected more because the game has been developed for a long time. I am not trying to say that the game looks horrible because it looks good and cant wait till I get my hands on it.
If, MSG 4 sells really well for the PS3, Konami might decide to release the game for the 360 as a business strategy.
MS/Sony should focus on making one sku which can both be accessible to hardcore gamers and casual gamer. If they plan on making different sku's they should emphasize that the different models have the same hardware.

360 might not last 10 years because MS never planned it to be one, but it can last for a long time if they release a Blu-Ray drive for it, put a price drop on the harddrive and fix the issues the console has. Whola, you got yourself atlest a console which can last longer then 5 years.
