Isn't he referring to PS2 as the "dominant" one?
P:S What was so fricking difficult for him to answer the pricedrop? He kept dodging the question.
If MS releases a portable, they have just shoot themselves in the foot. Their can be more profitable if they work as a software company in the market.
JT: We've had different competitors over the years, and we've never been first to market, or been the cheapest. We believe in a 10-year life cycle. If you spend all your time thinking about your competitors and what they're doing, then you lose your own path.
This probably the first time I agree with JT.
I think this might have a slight effect on the 360's sale, but MS might also have a pricedrop to counter.
Have a bubble.
with the new "falcon" SKU (65 Nm), MS they will definantley slash the price.
The consoles in the future will probably come without the PS2 hardware.
That would definately be awesome.
MS might do it to reduce the cost for the guarantee.
The faster the problems are fixed, the better for the consumers.
Kudos for Sony.
Truly stunned.
PS3 is getting better exlusive games, but consider the fact that it has a $600 pricetag (Might change at E3) and that there are competitors with cheaper consoles.
The article brings intresting points and information, but to say that 360 has failed is too early to say. They are 18 months in the race and alot of issues can be fixed before the problem even increases. Now when they are adding a 3 year warrant, people shouldn't be that worried. By Christmas, the consoles should be fixed.
I will make my decision after E3.
They did the same thing for Halo, Fable and Halo2. Its pretty annoying because when you buy the game, you expect it to be on that console and nothing else, but I also think it's a business strategi.
The cost will come through Xbox Live, console sold, games sold and extra accessories brought.
First the game is awesome and now when Sega announces online gameplay, they dislike the game saying that it sucks.
The Beta didn't impress them and they started bashing the game for its graphics even though it was still in its Beta stage. Now when Bungie is showing an in-game screenshot of the game, these people are quick to say that the screenshot isn't in-game.
What's so difficult for people to wait till tommorrow?
