look, if PS1 games like FF7 and MGS1 sell like hotcakes on the PSN, you bet your A** they will bring BC for the PS2 and copy that success as well. i want to go as far as to say, look for this to happen next year.
the fact is though, its built into the PS3 without having to pay $100 more for it. its a neat feature to have if you have to pack your PS3 and go to areas that dont have an Ethernet connection in rooms such as HOmes/Apartments.

even if the elite costs $300 now, the fact is that if you want to make it have all the features that the PS3 has, its going to cost more than a PS3/PS3 slim now. Thus Sony has solidified the PS3's value again. you have to be an idiot not to buy a PS3 this year.
