now if this game will come out by the end of this year, then there is one final piece to this puzzle thats very important for the success of the PS3 slim and GT5.
its called MARKETING. back in 2007 when the PS3 dropped to $400, it had a great Marketing Campaign in fall 2007.
if they can start marketing beginning this September with such a Marketing strategy, then they will dominate.

i would have no doubt in my mind that the 360's lead will shrink again to 4 million by the end of march 2010.

GT3 was the best selling PS2 Game Last Gen. it had sales of over 14million i believe.
GT is pretty Big in the US, but not as big as the 2 regions you just stated. in the US alone, you can sell at least 2-4 million copies on a new GT game alone.
q4 could mean CY 2009 or Jan-March 2009. I highly doubt they release it at around JAN-March 2009 cause thats the time GOW3 is going to release.
