U2 sold approx. 50,000 copies today in Japan. and thats the first day. im pretty sure it will move some consoles over there. There meat and potatoes is in FFXIII though.
it will be interesting to see next week's media Create weekly sales figures to see if this game pushed consoles in japan this week.

its not a trilogy, it will be an ongoing thing,like R&C and Jak & Daxter.
