probably it has to do with the exclusivity that MS has with Netflix to keep the app natively on the 360?
still you're right, its really stupid.
Heres a good lesson for you to learn:
why make a game for the Most powerful console, if you can make a game with the biggest install base? thus they have to make the game suitable for the lowest common denominator, which is the 360.
But now that the PS3 is slowly overtaking the 360 in sales, how long will the argument presented by me will stay standing?
This is why PS3 exclusives are there for, to try to cripple down that argument that i presented, so t...
yea its called upscaled 1080p. it means fake 1080p.
as for 360 versions of games having the superior textures and faster frame rate, it depends on the game. games that lead on the 360 will be superior on the 360. games that lead on the PS3, will be superior on the PS3. so far, these multiplats you talk about lead on the 360.
yea, i just read that part. that's actually pretty pointless.
Nothing, they have more choice. still blu-ray is the best way to watch a movie.
BTW, it would be funny if this gets integrated into Home, Like XBL and Netflix,LOLOLOLOL
smart move sony. you just made the PS3 better with this. not to mention, made sure that Netflix's service stays in the XMB as an Application instead of allowing them to do it by booting it by a Disc.
still though, im sticking with BLu-ray.
Peoples ELBOW!!!
Full Power =/= Maxed Out
Full Power = all of the assets that ND did not use on the PS3.
example, i have a game that did not run on the SPEs. The Next Game I make will use all of the SPEs. But the game will not push the PS3 to Full Throttle.
im all in for it, as long as they fix a few issues from the multiplayer. I liked the multiplayer. it is such an awesome concept, from the 7 rounds of a match with different types of games, to the clan system. However, they forgot a few things to bring into the multiplayer, such as a party system. if they can incorporate it into the game somehow, then it will be awesome.
Then comes the single player, it was great, but it was lacking at a story that people care about, like some...
i will not use netflix if its running on off a disc. it has to be downloaded into the system. Make the deal with Sony to get it built into the XMB.
Lay the SmackDOwn on dem, Peoples Champ!
its not 80,000 per character, its 30,000 per character. and when they Say they are using %100 of the Processor, they mean they are using all of the SPEs. not max out the PS3.
ATLUS should get its own PSN Publisher Store if they keep on pumping out games on the PSN. SO far, EA(EA SPORTS), Capcom and R* got their own store.
yup.
1. releasing the game on system whos demographic dont buy M rated games
2.No marketing seen behind it
3. moving the franchise to a console who hasnt played the original game.
How much you wanna bet that when the PS wand launches next year, EA and Visceral will port the game?
its not out yet.
well taking away both the UMD and the USB drive was reasonable.
They profit by making owners by the proprietary accessories and for the UMD, people didn't wanted it.
if the system had a built in camera and a built in GPS chip inside, the the $250 would of been reasonable for people. but its not going to happen.
when they bring in the PSP2, it has to have the camera at least as standard, not to mention the touch screen and the second analog stick.
Games like Uncharted 2 disagree. As games get bigger every gen, so does the medium. its happened every generation. Microsoft's 2GB security code makes things bad for devs, so they scale down the game. BTW keep in mind uncharted 2 took all of the 25gb. they even stated that if they were able to make an Uncharted 3 in the future, it will take more than 25 gbs, so they would go with a Dual Layered Blu-Ray Disc.
This is the same argument that 360 owners come up with all the time...
fair deal Netflix. Good Job Sony.
