@Pathogenic
Yeah during the holiday season into the new year college football bowl games are pretty huge. There are many of them during this time and as @Garethvk mentioned there are 4-6 major bowl games that receive a massive amount of sponsorship as well as viewership. This year the numbers have come in and they already surpassed last year numbers, so Sony sponsoring a bowl game is pretty huge over here.
For me, I thought $4.99 price point is a little more entertaining than $9.99, especially given how short the SP experience is.
Well, how do we explain the Wii?
When Sony mentioned the 2.6m, I assumed they were referring to the end of the Fiscal year, not the end of 2016.
Wow...very surprised at the impact. Good Job Sony. Now I hope all of those stupid articles against the Pro will stop.
On top of that...we cannot forget about the games that made the console what it was...in no way shape or form is the XB1 similar to the PS3. GameBolt nice try again.
60 Million in a fiscal year? That means they have until March/April of 2017 to hit that number. Lime123 said they may hit 57 million by end of December, that is truly possible.
I think the biggest problem with looking at the Scorpio and XBO is that there is no parity between the two consoles other than that they use the company that makes the chips for them in the system. I guess what I am referring to is the fact that the the XBO chip-set is in one class and the Scorpio chip-set is in another. This worries me because the real question is there really going to be parity. If there is, whats the point of all that power if its not being fully utilized?
@vallencer
Not certain where you live but my ISP doesn't have a cap. Honestly if I switch to another company in my area they too do not offer a cap either. If I choose to switch to a smaller company that provides service, that may be different as their U/D is about 20/15 and in some cases 15/10
If I am not mistaken, the link and I think Sony stated that it is up to the developer to release updated visuals to older games.
@Golbdy,
Yeah I know...just hoping that this may be the justification. I know I am completely wrong but its worth a shot to think of the possibility.
You know...that's a thought...what if they are increasing the price to include the PSNow feature. To me that justifies the increase. Well it doesn't matter, just have to wait until September 7th to find out what Sony has up its sleeves.
The features in this update, is more on the list of items I wasn't expecting. Good job Sony for actually going after some if not most of user requested features.
You mean underestimating? If they overestimated them, we wouldn't be talking about the Neo and Scorpio. I honestly believe cost had something to do with why the current PS4 and XBO are designed the current chip sets. I assume that they wanted to support 4K out of the door for games, but weren't able to because of the cost. Now the Neo and Scorpio are able to right their wrong.
There is nothing wrong with the campaign...I haven't completed it yet because I've been playing 2K16...Sony shouldn't have done that special release...smh. Either way I will complete it soon, when I have time to do so.
What about Mark of Kri
For Japan this is a solid move...for the ROW its going to take some convincing. I honestly think they may pull this off if they can properly state how the home console will be used. This is one reason why i hate rumors...we only really get a piece of the puzzle. lets hope when they choose to reveal we will see something solid.
I don't think he is stating nonsense, because MS hasn't answered the question and honestly when I saw the announcement for Project Scorpio, i said to myself, this is the next Gen console from MS. It was presented as such, at least to me, during E3 because the specs were out there. Many are calling this system next gen, at least until MS confirms that it is not. Project Scorpio can fully support the XBO but it doesn't mean it can't have its own games.
Thanks for the summary, the article is a little disturbing for me mainly because Sony hasn't officially announced anything while at the same time the hints that they did give out indicated that their cause is not to rival PC. So how was she able to come up with half this logic really doesn't sit well. Don't get me wrong for saying this but I could see if this article was directed at MS as the Scorpio is going to be something to talk about based on the proposed specs to rival the P...
Yeah, that is what I recall as well.
