At the end of the day its all opinion. Unfortunately for 90% of the people who have played it.... they all said it sucks
It didnt get hacked... How did this get approved?>
They blend horror with nice FPS action really well? The slow motion is cool. The Nail gun is classic. Also Alma is a symbol and the A.I. is genuinely challenging.
You have pretty much the same concerns as I. Hopefully the BETA doesnt dissapoint next week
Good points..
But the newest thing about Mass Effect 3 is an enhanced focus on combat and that is what they showed.
As the year goes on we may see more of these things. Planet exploration hasn't been talked about much because they don't want to give off spoilers.
Actually these 2 videos address "some of those RPG elements".

You get a taste of planet exploration and skill based combat with these videos. Loot isn't something they would broadcast at this time.
Some of those things are returning in Mass Effect 3 including storytelling elements. I'm sure as the year goes on we will see more of what will and will not make a return.
I doubt it.. the option is open but who knows
ITs only helping.. it saves money and is worth it to people who never got to play some of these games that are being released in HD
Uncharted 3
Modern Warfare 3
Mass Effect 3
Skyrim
I cant believe people are making a big deal out of this....
Dont bother Ive seen NYC gamer and Femshep in just about every articles relating to mass effect 3 whining about the new features. its not worth it i know im eager to seeing how my decisons will play out
EDIT: Change the title.. it isnt a new demo its the same demo we already saw
Cry babies.. you dont like the game.. dont buy it It will still sell millions of copies regardless
The biggest newest thing about Mass Effect 3 is the new and improved combat. Why not show it off in a demo at E3. If you havent check out the developer walkthroughs. He shows exploration and some of the customization. Also, this article explains some of the RPG elements..

One of the main flaws about the first Mass Effect and even the 2nd Mass Effect was some combat flaws. There is nothing wrong with them improving on those aspects and making it more action oriented. Just because its more action oriented doesnt mean all of the RPG elements are gone. Ive seen and read about the customization. There are more RPG elements in ME3 then there was in ME2... Isnt that good enough
Wait a minute... there is already a radar and a booster that lets you see the person that killed you on the radar... And they STILL kept situal awareness???
@ captain obvious.. All video games are inspired by other game styles, mechanics, stories, and settings.. Every game takes from other games. Thats just how it is. I can name about a dozen games with swords and melee weapons like blades on their wrist.
Predicatable list..
Wow, I wonder if my PC can run this... Can anyone give me the specs?
This is a great articles. I knew for a while that testing isn't the haven gamers think it is. Its almost like aspring video game designers. Alot of people think its about telling people what they want in the game and then they just execute it. It's pretty much why I don't think I want to be in the video game industry anymore.
