Wow, the gaming industry is alot more similar to the movie industry than I previously thought..
Yeah right..... keep ruining all of your IP's
So am i.. its hard to make a good looking shephard anyway lol.. so many mutant looking ones on youtube
Dont forget gamers are confusing and dont know what the heck they want
Mass Effect has always been a TPS and RPG hybrid.. It was never really a straight up RPG.. Its nothing wrong with them improving combat and things of that nature. The problem came when they streamlined most of the customization that players loved and other elements such as XP. Improving the combat is great. Just dont ditch all of the other stuff that made it great.
I think they had him look a certain way and then chaned him again
LEFT 4 DEAD!
Portal 2!
RE5
Halo ODST
Lego Star Wars
Borderlands
Diablo 2
Killzone 3
Dead Nation
Army of Two

Any game that im definately buying on release i go to gamestop.. Other than that i go to Amazon and i can get a new game cheaper than gamestop. For example a weeek after Alice madness returns came out i bought it from Amazon for 40 bucks new instead of 60 at gamestop
Oh I agree.. Don't forget SONY.. KZ3 and Socom 4 are examples since SONY ownes Zipper and GG. The people that care most about the game are usually the programmers, designers... and maybe QA
Was it the fact that it was a cliffhanger or that Nathan died?
Also this does look visually outstanding and the mood and atmosphere looks immersive
Good Read

Solid points
One of the biggest one however is the "Hype Machine"
That and REALLY HIGH expectations are what ruins a game. You forgot to mention how some developers kinda spoil the main parts of the story and even the ending before the game comes out..
This was expected.. As long as the console versions aren't broken then im fine with that.. Game still looks great regardless.
That'd be freakin awesome
I dont understand what you mean in that last paragraph. I own and have played every game I talked about in the blog.
Open-world games give us the choice to do it. That is true but one of the other things open world games are supposed to do is to give us freedom and a nonlinear way of approaching our goals. How can you enjoy that if the side quest feels tedious?
Hmm, I don't agree with location that much. Some open world games have 1 major setting while ...
Interesting.. Cant wait!
Agreed, but alot of these things happen because it simply is "just business"
Good list.. but predictable, i guessed 9 women and they all were on that list.. Kitana is the only one who i couldnt figure out
This is probably based off of some misleading statistical B.S.
3D sucks
