"As a Black person..."
Excuse me while I press X to doubt.
So everyone should be cool with edgy teens dropping n bombs then. I see.
Can I ask what you mean by "romanticizing it, especially when it's not called out the other way around"?
You know what word gamers like to use in online games right?
I still don't understand how the "casual" market generates so much profit from live service games. Even as a little kid, if you told me that I could have as many games as I want for $X each, or I could have 1 game but there would be the option to spend infinite dollars on it for cosmetic items and one day the game just wouldn't work ever again, I would have told you to gtfo of my face with the live service.
What marketing or psychological fake out tricks p...
"Its only certain people that takes things to heart and take obsess over."
Literally like 75% of people that follow game marketing.
I'm sure there's an actual human artist that could have used the work.
Essentially, if you're not going to demonstrate to me that your game has soul, then I won't play it.
@amplitude
no one wants to work, and yet that is all that will happen thanks to AI. AI will take all of the interesting creative jobs away from people that are actually good at them, and those people will have to find tedious jobs to keep the machine running and feed their families. yayyyy......
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
Spoken like someone who never played a MGS game.
N4G is such a bizarre website. You either have the "company has crossed the line with shady business practices and lacklustre games" crowd or you have the "wHy CaNt YoU lEt PeOpLe JuSt HaVe FuN?" crowd.
Personally, I don't see what Diablo 4 is doing that is any better or more innovative than what Grim Dawn already did 7 years ago.
The DNA of Live A Live is alive and well. You saw the same kind of game structure from Saga Frontier 1+2, plus Octopath Traveler 1+2. It would make sense if they wanted to revisit Live A Live one day.
"Don't worry, I'm sure this guy who is doing his best Mitch Hedberg impression will be just as funny as Mitch Hedberg."
I guess the people complaining hate that the industry caters to casuals when it created the hardcore fanbase organically over 30 years.
Companies aren't your friends. People are lambasting Sony for this because live service games are where creativity goes to die. Fake chores that you have to do daily or else you don't get the best weapon in the game? Copy and paste quests? Profitable? Why is that your focus?
64 players? How are they going to find enough people to have a full match?
Ahh yes. NFTs. They are so hot right now. Good reputation.
The first person to get a "meta" article out wins the games journalism game.
Give me a break. Just play whatever strikes your fancy. You're going to eventually make every class. Don't overthink it.
Eventually, Kojima will have to write into the lore of Death Stranding, why this far into the apocalypse, so many people have hideous nose jobs.
They literally said very little of substance, the last sentence makes zero sense. A black person saying that anti-black racism online isn't a problem and the real problem is anti-white racism. That definitely doesn't track, my guy.
