Besides why would anyone trust review scores when Assasins Creed, the easiest, repetitive, ho-hum game always gets an 8? Big name sites (IGN) won't gives certain games low review scores because they see it as hurting sells of the IP, and they have relationships with publishers so they catch flack for giving low review scores. Or did everyone forget about Jeff Gerstmann. If so, google his name and see what happened to him for giving a low review score.
There's nothing wrong with a 6.5. It's above average if the highest score is a 10. 5 and below, then yeah it's not good. But 6.5 is ok, I'll play the game. That means the game is fun, playable...it may not be a Gears of Wars or Battlefield, but it's also not a Too Human or Haze either.
