PS3 really had potential, but collected dust on my tv stand. Literally collected dust. The main reason, the controller sucked. The operating system sucked. The online was horrible. That's why every multi platform game was for my Xbox 360. I could easily chat with friends, the controller felt comfortable, and for all the power the PS3 boasted about having superior specs, it really didn't show. In fact, a lot of the 360 games looked better. So am I to believe this process won't repe...
It's obviously not going to make KillZone run any faster than 30FPS either. That's very high end PC like
I'd rather play games like Batman, Splintercell, The Division than play a game called freaking Octodad. I don't know about you guys, but I grew up on Contra, Castlevania, Strrets of Rage, Ninja Gaiden. These are what games are to me...not games like Fez and Octodad. They have their place on mobile/tablets. I'm not buying my X1 and PS4 to play games that I can play on my ipad.
Does anyone realize the article said you can upgrade on November 1st? Is this when they think, or have inside info when the next gen systems will be released?
This is horrible. I'm spending hundreds of dollars to play games that I can play on my Atari? This indie crap is getting out of hand. Keep these kinds of games on the iPhone or ipad, the PS4/X1 are next gen machines. I want to see next gen games, not IOS apps.
How could you forget about Splinter Cell? It's the last 360/PS3 game worth getting. Besides Batman
Should my car cost cheaper because the Bluetooth capabilities aren't mandatory and I don't pay for it? Should my microwave cost less because the popcorn option isn't mandatory and I don't use it? Nope, in today's world, for you people who don't think before writing articles/comments, you pay for the additional features in a product even if you don't use them. And if you don't want to buy the product, you don't go online and state why you shouldn't buy...
Probably the same reason why you're paying extra for that camera and wifi and LTE in your smartphone. Not mandatory but it's additional features that come with it. So that answers your question about paying for the connect. Pretty simple, every feature in every device isn't mandatory. But guess what? You pay for it. Wow, see how you learn something new everyday.
We should compare the X1 controller to the PS eye while we're at it. Or better yet, the HDMI cable
Good job guys. Keep supporting GameStop and their used game policies so more good studios can close down. Pretty soon all we'll be playing is these stupid indie games that resemble Nintendo entertainment system graphics. Or micro-transactions galore. Keep it up.
It's the most pre-ordered launch title because there is literally nothing else worth playing. And don't say that stupid game Knack, or boring Ass Creed
People keep using The Last of Us as an example of PS3 power. Um, that was like the last freaking game to come out before the PS4 arrives. So basically you're telling me that I have to wait until the end of the PS4 cycle to see the additional power in graphics over X1 titles.
PS2 when you were a kid? How old are you guys? Is that why PS fanboys make no sense half the time? I had the PS2 when I was 19, rocking on twisted metal black and onimusha. That's why a lot of comments make no sense, you guys don't have the gaming history to be considered fanboys. You probably don't even know about intelevision/Atari battles.
I'm still getting it for the X1. How's that make some of you crybabies feel? In fact, most multi platform games I'm getting for the X1 over my PS4. You know why? Because of the multimedia experience I can get out of my Xbox, since I'm older than 12 and do more with my time than just play games.
And by the way, since you guys seem to know how the PS4 will fare with its specs, I'm assuming you went to the future. Give me the winning lottery numbers while you're time traveling
No one knows the difference of graphics between games. You know why? Because no one has went to the future yet to see the difference. When the time comes, if there is a difference we'll know. Until then it's no point in speculating. And if it makes anyone feel better, I'm still getting an X1 and PS4, don't care what people say about what specs. Because the truth is you don't know.
I'll. buy my game on the digital store, more convenient. Don't care about sharing my games. My friends are adults. They have jobs. They buy their own games.
Who the hell can't afford $60.00 a year, but can afford $60.00 for a game, let alone $400/$500 for a console? Who cares if you have to have gold membership. I already got it. Since 2003. And it doesn't affect me. At all.
Uh, news flash. Sony is a company. Companies are here to, wait for it...make money.
Imagine a camera on every cell phone. Imagine cell phone companies having access to your text messagesoh wait, everyone forgot about that.
