It is true...we get some of the most exciting scores during trailers. Maybe marketing people know how to make a more thrilling soundtrack than developers do.
I hope "flawed Drake" doesn't get old. I love the guy, and I can't wait for Uncharted 3, but I hope the game can still surprise me.

Same here, but I think I'm getting wimpier as time goes by. Most games are so idiot-proof now, that I've become babied, and games like Dark Souls feel so much more difficult than they should be for someone like me.
I love I Am 8-Bit, but I'm happy to see this stuff get more exposure elsewhere, especially in different parts of the country.

Dungeon Defenders is another good one. I'm curious how it compares to this game...they kinda sound similar.

I had the same "issue" with Wii Fit. This isn't the game's fault, but when it points out how few calories I'm actually losing vs. how many damn calories are in everything I eat, it's quite discouraging!
I've been afraid to get into these games because I just don't want to get beat up over and over, but I kinda dig that there's a game that doesn't hold your hand through everything, too. I like the idea of the lack of prompts...may have to give it a shot.

It's interesting that this is a design issue, and gamers don't think that way (to look up). It seems natural to do in real-life, but I guess the screen and the controls would limit that.

Agreed! Not even the cape in Super Mario World was as good as half the stuff in SMB3, power-up-wise.
But I will have to check this one out. It's Mario...can't avoid it.
