That's great, the X360 is only 8 million ahead of the PS3 after all and if you factor in RROD and all the X360 owners that have at least 2, 3, 4 X360s (in case one breaks), I'm sure Sony has already caught up in fact.

That's the problem with multiplayer games on PS3, the only few people that have mics bought the cheapest of the cheapest and you're always hearing strange noises (someone crying in the background, TV volume...) from their mics.
I have to mute everyone in Uncharted and Killzone to actually play the game.
You're right. People that can't speak play video games too and I don't they'll ever bother to get a mic.
Moreover, some people just don't like talking to strangers, so forcing them to get a mic to play the game is not really smart.
I know I'm going to get flamed for this but I'll write it anyway.
I have both the X360 and the PS3 and I prefer the PS3. But when it comes to multiplayer games, XBoxLive just makes the whole experience a lot better than it is on the PS3.
For example, Dead or Alive 4 (a fighting game) was released 4 years ago and up till this day a lot of people still play that game on LIVE.
Try some games on XBoxLive and if you still don't like multiplayer, then it mig...

I'm guessing the X360 is dirt cheap to produce now and XLIVE is REALLY, really profitable for them.
Once the Valhalla X360 (Xbox-Natal maybe) is done, things are going to be even better for them.
