The demo alone is better than a lot of games out there. The full game is just gonna be mind-blowing. GOTY for sure.
I don't mind online only game as long as they deliver a considerable amount of re-playability and fun.
I don't, however, enjoy getting the exact same multiplayer, a mediocre story, and a limited horde mode.
I don't care about all this casual crap. I want MS to actually SHOW us how they'll implement this in hardcore games. Other than casual, simple titles (with Lag of course) I don't see the use for Natal? Other than to try (and probably fail) to take down the Wii.
You won't see soccer moms and grandparents buying a 360. Never.
@Darkride
Completely agree, however you fail to take into account the large amount of blinded, misinformed customers that will buy anythin...
As long as it's not a cheap rip-off expansion released at full price.
Well, they are both last gen hardware so it's appropriate.
Free = Win.
This thing is going no where near my PS3. I already watched the whole thing and seriously, my Ps3 deserves better.
Great numbers for the PS3 and Wii.
LMFAO at the 360.
@Cold
I know some of the greatest games this gen have been multiplat and I've gladly paid 60 dollars for most of them; however, this is a different situation.
GTAIV was held back. It actually took a step back from what GTA:SA delivered (although GTAIV's story is a lot better). That is just unacceptable. I know that the only way to make GTAV as huge as we want it is to make it exclusive to PS3 or PS3/PC.
If GTAV is also on the 360, I'll know it's been gim...
I think I'm gonna go with HeartGold. Thanks for the link.
Unless it's PS3 exclusive, I will not be buying it till it's like 40 bucks. It's UNDENIABLE that the 360 will only hold back the game and in the end GTAV will be only a slightly improved (visually) version of GTAIV. We'll never see huge, or multiple cities like we want to see unless it's PS3 exclusive.
I am, however, really excited about Rockstat North's PS3 exclusive AGENT. Now THAT game will be insane.
Can't wait to get my hands on it. I still don't know which version I should get... any suggestions?
@Cold 2000
Yep, Peace walker will be great. Kojima's really committed to making it an awesome experience for PSP users. Still, it's not MGS5. It's just called Peace Walker.
My point still stands, MGS4 (the one 360 fans were begging for) ain't going anywhere.
I finished the game and I've replayed some of the chapters. I have yet to see any problems (other than the slightly annoying stiff walking).
Yes indeed, it takes a PS3 exclusive to outdo another PS3 exclusive. Had MS said this I'd be laughing my @ss of at their delusion; however, when a dev such as Santa Monica says it, then I take it with confidence. GOWIII= GOTY 2010 (unless TLG comes out).
LOL, keep dreaming. The TRUE MGS4 will remain exclusive to PS3. All you 360 owners get is a disowned spinoff. Bluray isn't need rights? LMAO.
It's the old build, yet it still looks and plays amazing.
I expect it to be a good game. I doubt it'll top Heavy Rain (why are we even comparing?), but it'll be great game. The only game that can top Heavy Rain is GoWIII.
Just 5? Not enough imo. I guess they could list more, but they'd run out of space.
The second wave will be......
"fun, simple and family-oriented" games.... so will the third... and fourth... and so on.
Other than simple games, Natal doesn't have much use. Running a meager max of 30 FPS and not having it's own processor means that it IS pretty much a slightly upgraded Eyetoy. What did the Eyetoy have? "fun, simple, family-oriented" games.
Get my point?
