The arcade is the best selling console. The casuals will go for the 199 instead of 299 or 399. Even so the 360 can't even outsell the wii and barely manages to sell more than the PS3.

I'd go as far say MS is better than Activision. Seriously this guy is actually saying he WANTS to increase the price if he could. MS is, as you said, more subtle about it and to some extent not as crazy (though the HDD and wifi adapter are horribly expensive).

That makes sense; however these titles will push sales especially in Japan. I agree, however, that the wii's introduction of motion controls really pushed it's image as family friendly.
