PS3 exclusives are much better because first of all they're actually true exclusives. 2nd, they're very innovative especially in the graphics department. Games like Heavy Rain and the Last Guardian are not your average game, they innovate. Only on PS3.
Yes, XBL has cross game chat and that's it. You're paying 50 bucks for that ONE feature. I'd much rather choose PSN and use my cellphone or something if I need to talk to someone.
