It doesn't matter. Bungie themselves said this was nothing more than an expansion. 4-6 hour campaign, more maps, and the halo Reach Beta. That is not enough to justify the 60 dollar price tag. At most this game should 39.99 like the real expansion it is.
Halo ODST should not be GOTY when there are MUCH higher quality games around. If ODST wins it's based on hype and not actual merit. Right now, most gamers would say Uncharted 2 deserves goty.
I hope Sony didn't underestimate demand. It could go on to sell over 1 million in it's first month, let's hope Sony has enough.
Halo is irrelevant now. PlayStation has returned and it won't be going anywhere but up.
I will not be buying it day one as I originally planned. I'm tired of all the BS SE has been handing out and the game no longer has the potential it used to have. I'll just wait for FF Versus XIII

Sony should ban SE from PS3. If they love the 360 so much then see how long they last by supporting only the 360. You can expect SE to start kissing @ss soon enough.
Yes indeed, next year will be amazing for PS3 owners. MANY exclusives and multiplats to keep us busy. WE can expect ME2 and SCC to jump out as well so I really feel bad for 360-only owners. All they get is more Halo.

I remember people thinking the PS3 would fail it's first year, yet here we are, almost 3 years into it's lifespan. I think Sony's goal of selling 150 million lifetime isn't too far-fetched anymore. If they support it for 10 full years and keep pumping out great exclusives, they will reach their goal.
Sony has EVERYTHING going for them. Price, games, quality. If they play their cards right, which they are, then PS3 will be yet another success. The similarities between the PS3 and previous PlayStations is stuning. The PS3 is almost guaranteed to sell over 100 million.
And no gap by July 2010 give or take 2 months. It's possible, that's my point.

Halo 3 helped push the 360 into people's homes. It was a true system seller. Halo Wars did nothing. Halo 3 ODST will sell to those same 10 million people that bought Halo 3. In other words, anyone who wants Halo already has a 360 therefore ODST will not act as a system seller, which makes it irrelevant .
