In their first try Sony defeated both veterans Sega and Nintendo and became the first to sell 100 million. The Ps2 is the best selling system of all time. Sony most definitely knows what they're doing. Compared to Sony MS hasn't really done anything significant. Afterall MS was in second last gen and they're still in second this gen. the only ones that have changed are Nintendo and Sony.
