I can't work out whether I'm getting grumpier or there are more of these daft articles around that just make me shake my head and raise my blood pressure.
The only thing the PS3 needs saving from is the barrage of daft articles covering it.
Paedophiles exist and they will use any necessary means at their disposal to do what they do. This means they use chatlines, chatrooms, ads in papers, sitting outside schools, bags of sweets - just about anything they can. It does not require much brain power to say that any social networking site (like countless others, Facebook, myspace, bebo - all of them) will in all probability have potential Paedophiles knocking about on them. How many people on N4G state what their PSN is and say thing...
It's another to state to the world what your expectations are. I hope they sell more copies than MGS4 but I would never had said it out loud. Just creates an expectation which if they fail to fulfil by the slightest of margins - everyone will say Sony must be disappointed.
What do they teach these people? Manage expectations - don't brag!!

Even if Nintendo do bring out a new Wii sometime in the future, I'm not convinced it would sell as well as the current console. Perhaps those people (everyone by the look of it) who currently has a wii won't be so quick to part with their cash. I regret my wii purchase. The original marketing for red steel misled me (in my view) and the only games I really like on it are resident evil 4 and the twilight princess. I won't be buying Wii 2 anytime soon unless I'm convinced the reality of the gam...
In the video IGN says Sony hasn't fully delivered on their promises and then goes on to say that if ps3 games look as good as killzone2, who's going to complain?
That final statement is a long way away from saying 'sony lies' and actually ends upbeat. As a result I'm a little surprised by some of the very unreasonable and inarticulate arguments and words being thrown around in this thread.

The article doesn't say anything about removal of any unlockables - where did that bit of news come from? Why is it in the headline?
But in the whole scheme of things, are they really doing that badly? Or is it just the perception? 400k was low though ... but overall they seem to be doing ok ... perhaps?
Truly I am. I'm no fanboy - I have a PS3 and a wii and I play on my friend's xbox360 but enough with these dull, mundane, inane, pointless, mediocre, boring, dull (did I say dull already?) speculative articles.
I dream of a world when I log on N4G and some lazy journalist hasn't written an article bashing the PS3 or telling them how to run their business. Same goes for bashing the other consoles too! Am I dreaming of the impossible?
I think LBP has been huge fun - obviously I discovered I wasn't quite as creative as I thought I was but creating new levels has been pretty rewarding. A LBP secret project can only enhance the experience :)
