The only reason I bought a PS5 early on was to load a few of my PS4 games faster. /PC player.
Depends how old the current consoles are? A PS4 may have competed with PCs when the PS4 was new, but then you had to put up with slow loading times and low framerates for years whereas PC gamers have a lot more opportunities to upgrade to the latest when it's convenient to them. I bought a PS4 but rarely used it because the loading times were insane compared to my PC full of SSDs. I tend to upgrade to upgrade a GPU every 2-3 years and PC every 5-6 years.
Irrespective of opinion, I'm surprised that I've not read how one the previous arguments in Sony's defence was that they felt impelled to sell digital games at the same prices as physical stores so that those stores would agree to sell console hardware and accessories, which Sony aguably relies on (although you could have also argued against that with the PS5 scarcity). I remember the video saying it was 'in-engine' footage so I never assumed it was running on the console. iirc, they only said that the game would show off the power of the xbox series consoles.
If someone has thousands of hours playing games in a similar genre, I suspect they would be able to 1-star a terrible game in much less time than 2 hours. If there is a 2-hour limit to refund games like there is on Steam, then this seems like a ploy to simply reduce the number of negative reviews to hopefully sell more games.

A good outcome, but no reference made to online-only requirements. Plenty of people still play GT4 to this day, but what if that had been online-only? Do you think those servers would still be available today?

I played the first, fifth and sixth instalments of this game a fair bit, but what baffles me is how people are so enamoured over the same game being released over and over again, with some new graphics and wiped save game. Also baffled by this writer who described the handling as awesome but also sim-cade.
I wonder how many times PC players had to buy this game when they upgrade their hardware? 🤔 I picked this up for free from an Epic Game Store sale but have never played it.

The title is incorrect, this is not the first DD wheel for PlayStation. It's the first wheel Fanatec have made in partnership with PD.
Of course another way to look at this is if an ad is personalised then it is as a result of intrusion of privacy... so it's intrusive.
