I haven't seen anything about an Online Pass with this game.
They aren't just talking about you they are talking about the majority. The majority of gamers are not defending their stances. There are so many people against Capcom, EA, and Activision yet they still constantly buy their products.
I think the only difference between this DLC and Red Dead or GTAIV's DLC is that they announced it early.

It's a different type of Noir. Rockstar even put up a blog showing different types of Tropical Noir Films. Noir does not have to be set in a dark city it could take place anywhere. It's the tone and the narrative that matters.

If anything worked in Enslaved it was because of Andy Serkis and the game's screenplay writer (I'm forgetting his name but he worked on the movies 28 Days Later and The Beach).
