You are so arrogant, you have completely amazed me.
And your standardised view of a gamer playing all these genres also isn't 99% of the market either.
Talk about trying to seem superior because you sit at a computer instead of a couch jeeeeezz.
Personally, I've always had a decent computer that can at least play games on medium-high, but besides the odd genre which - as you blew your own trumpet saying - don't USUALLY play well on console (I cant think of one genre that isn't on a console and ...
I was looking at the acer 'gaming' pc, they seem good and they're not that expensive compared to some other websites selling gaming pc's
Amazing, I wonder how much a pc tower would cost to be able to run this on ultra, really want a true gaming pc :0
Every message gets reviewed.... Seriously....
Very.. VERY old information.
I remember being 17 playing this game and being absolutely terrified of this game.
Really felt like being in a supernatural thriller movie!
I can think of a lot scarier enemies than the majority of the characters on that list...
Who works there? Have they even played a game besides zelda?!?
I don't like free to play games at all, I'd prefer to pay the one off fee and have everything I need. DLC is also fine with me, it's normally an expansion of the game you've already bought (if the company isn't trying to rogue you).
That's another reason I don't like MMORPG, I don't like paying a subscription.
This is just my personal preference though.
I'm guessing the majority of the costs are down to graphics and programming, so wouldn't another option be that there are a lot less semi-realistic games and more games driven by art style to reduce costs?
The only thing on the surface that has changed over the years are graphics and complexity of games. Game design isn't my sector though so I could be completely wrong and the highest costs could be elsewhere or I've just over generalised, but games like jour...
The picture of onlive is certainly obsolete
What is that voice?!?!?
It was twilight princess.
I was so excited to play it with motion, that I got into a frenzy and when I finally got the wii and game - I just didn't like it, it felt.... Wrong.
I was going to get the cell shaded zelda game, but after TP I just didn't want to play!
I do realise that obviously the game series must be fantastic to have lasted so long, but to me, I just didn't like it all.
Bought a wii at launch to play the ported zelda game, couldn't finish it because it was so trash. Zelda = over hyped.
Thankfully the wii is used more now so wasn't a complete waste of time.
No timesplitters ?!
Grow up, get a grip, move on.
There are worst things to moan about, plus most people have said borderlands was a popular game to play with their other halfs who don't like gaming, so yea - girlfriend mode would make sense.
I recently bought a PS3 slim for one reason and one reason only - it seemed better than a boxxee. I didn't care for games (I was probably going to buy one or two) I was just gonna use my ps3 for Netflix and catch up tv (iplayer, etc) and that fact it is a blu-ray.
So I deffo would have gone for this cheaper model, so I'm proof this version will sell.
However, I traded in the two bundle games on got a 90-day PS PLUS and have downloaded every game and ...
I read that valve weren't happy with current pc inputs, maybe it's just a peripheral for the pc gamers, the technicians job advertisements mentioned reinventing the controller.
I honestly have no idea of valves capita or worth, but could they really afford to release a console? Their main 'fans', I would imagine are PC gamers, who prefer that set up, why would valve alienate them in a crowded market against a (sadly fan boyish) market.
That...
I have 60mb Internet, and OnLive was unplayable. I don't think cloud gaming will go mainstream for quite a number of years, at least 10.
I agree with forgotten prophecy, logicwins is completely spot on.
Consumers should be less gauged on pitting games against each other every release... It's like fight club but with games!
Especially with what logic said, the games aren't that similar at all, they may both be action and adventure games, but that's where it ends.
If this is based entirely on graphics, well that is just sad.
