See what annoys me about these comparisons, they never truly get it right. In Europe at least, we've been able to watch and record tv on our Playstation 3 for absolutely years. I have no doubt this feature will be carried over.
And what annoys me too is that people don't realise the smaller benefits that the playstation brand comes with as standard such as the controllers already being rechargeable, when i had my 360 all I ever did was replace batteries before I fin...

1st party - owned by platform developer (ND, GG)
'2nd party' - more of loose term to describe a developer that is independent but clearly has a preferential platform or special relationship with a platform developer so like QD (could also say R* used to be this back in the early PS2 years)

It's not practical with realistic variables. Internet speed, latency, bandwith. What's more likely is having Gaikai games totally in the cloud which are rendered graphically superior, that could happen in a couple of years. but interaction between software computed on the xbone/ps4 and information in the cloud... no.

What nonsense! The cloud is wholly dependent on your internet, how could they produce games with heavily reliance on the cloud that would require high bandwith internet.. then someone with say a 5 MB ASDL line, although fine internet, would be useless!

I bought my PS3 in august 2012 after years of bitterly paying for XBL. I traded in the free games it came with and bought PS+. As of now i have over 20 games that I play, and not bought a single one of them. I really enjoy PS+, I feel like it's a justified membership with real rewards.

I think game hardware lasts quite a while in terms of consoles.
Think of phones or laptops, I replace my phone every year and get a new laptop every few years, had my console a lot lot longer.

Doubt it, someone like this would require Internet access such as associating a game code to a user account, Sony and MS have consoles is just about every country in the world, many of which have very little to no Internet, so no. Not this generation.

You aren't getting 4k native games. There is no demand for that technology, majority of consumers have only just adjusted to HD, no one is going to buy £40000 sets, even in 10 years they aren't feasible.
So before you blow of crap websites that a 10 year old has mocked up, go on reliable technology -non- sensationalist sites for accurate information, and if you cant handle that simply google BBC news.
When you're that young seeing things like that really upset you. I remember when I was little I watched starship troopers the movie without my parents knowing, and when the rude scene happene I started crying and went and owned up.

Im surprised GTA4 isn't on the list, when it rained in that game, and all the streets were wet, it just looked brilliant!
I can't think of anything worse than shouting at my console to do things for me, one of the reasons I have never cared for kinect. Genuinely do not have, and will never have any interest in features like this.
But. If its there, I'm sure some people with enjoy screaming at inanimate objects, so lets do it sony!
