Resistance, killzone and MAG were my main fps games. However, I didn't like resistance 3 (it was way too COD inspired). If it goes back to its roots, I'll definitely want a resistance 4 on the ps5.
I thought it was perhaps because red and blue coincide in the US more. In the US it's always been cowboys vs Indians, red vs blue.

Instead, we got different planets based on each Disney character (only a few) in the game, and it was linear as hell. You can literally just run against the wall, and find your way to where your suppose to go - to continue the story. You couldn't explore anything. Each planet story was also small. Also no ff characters. The game was a total let down.

Yeah, I should have, but I guess Sony's poor marketing turned me off. I bought the original fat version. It's an awesome handheld. I truly enjoyed the freedom of the PSP. However, the priority hardware must have been another turn off for me.
Resistance: fall of man. That wouldn't have been able to be released on the ps2.

I bought it after being on sale for a long time. All I can say it's shenmue for the wrong reasons. It could have done the series some good with some modernization. Glitches, inconsistency, bad dialogue. The game is average at best.

Yakuza and Judgement are spiritual successors of Shenmue. You can try to hide yourself away in your safe space all you want, it still won't change that fact. I lost interest in this game each and every time they spoke about it. I played and beat shenmue 1 & 2 so many times on the DC. I platinum the HD ports on the ps4. However, I couldn't force myself to buy part 3. It's on sale right now for $29.99 and I still don't think it's worth it. Probably because polyphony is using the same engine as gt sport. They are known for using the engine (resources) of previous hardware. Not until gt8 will we see a next generation Gran Turismo.
