As a Sony consoles owner, I'll admit Sony and MS are both showing anticonsumer practices this generation. I'm honestly not liking Sony this generation. And I agree with what you said about Ms and Xbox as well. We need to nip these practices before they get out of control on both consoles.
I heard Warner Bros and other studios are removing your digital copy from other sources and making you repurchase it on their platform. You'll rent and own nothing will be strong on digital services.
So many tried and failed because they tried to copy it. People don't buy copies, they buy originals. If Sony spent the money to advertise and also let their franchise grow, they probably would have a top seller fps by now.

Fix the lag and cheating BS. The only fps game in which I shoot someone 1/2 seconds first, and they kill me, or I have 4+ hits on them first and they kill me. And I know I'm not missing, I get the red marker indicator, and I also know how to shoot. I played dozens of fps games since 2000 and dominated in all of them. Everything in this game looks bland, the fighters, the stages, the music and the game itself.
I experienced this two days ago. The entire opposing team was unkillable. I don't know if it was related to the riot shield, but I joined a late game and would see the opposing team run towards us/objectives carefree. I would shoot at them and didn't matter how many times, or where, none of my hits would register same for my teammates shooting at them.
There's seriously a lot wrong with this game, that I regret buying it. Sometimes I feel like it rewards cheater...
Keep in mind, I played fps games since the early 2000s and did really well, mostly having a k/d of 2, 3 or even 4. I also had positive w/l ratio as I would go for objectives/wins. The game is filled with lag and cheaters. I can shoot someone a second or two before they react and they kill me. I can have 3 or 4 more hits before they respond and they kill me. I'm constantly being killed by a one shot, no headshot indicated death, I look at the kill cam and the person actually shot me multiple times.
