The ouya is more of an indie developer toy than an actual game console. this shouldn't be marketed as one. It's designed to be easily modded and hacked. Personally, I think this little thing will bring in a lot of innovation towards video games. You're definitely gonna see some unique titles from this.
The PS3 was just a setup. It all makes sense now.

It shouldn't be a surprise. The Wii U isn't really getting any third-party support. Smaller install base=less sales. Although it'll be for ps4 and 720
Which will have an even smaller install base, I can see it doing much better than a Wii U version. A lot of Nintendo fans don't exactly buy third-party games unless they're exclusive for some reason...

Almost? In my opinion, the modern and future settings have been milked more than the ww2 setting. I personally would love to see a world at war 2. That was my favorite COD. And does anybody remember Medal of Honor: Airborne? My God, that game was terribly underrated.

And that's off the top of my head. There's been lots of games with great stories. Probably just not the final fantasy-type story you're looking for though.
Achievements/trophies give the player the extra motivation to complete difficult challenges that they usually wouldn't if it weren't for the achievements. It expands the play-time of each game and It gives the player a sense if accomplishment even if it's just a digital trophy that doesn't do anything. Just because YOU think it's useless, doesn't mean others do.
I know right? It's like.. If a console is having below average sales people just jump the gun and go "IT'S DOOMED. IT'S THE NEXT DREAMCAST." It's just like stfu. The Wii U doesn't even have much games for it yet. Wait till the 1st party games come out. Then it'll pick up steam like the PS3 did...

This isn't a handheld. Of course it's going to have third party support unlike the vita. This is an actual next-gen console that is up to date with mid-range PCs. Plus it's easy to develop for. It would be pretty stupid for them to just abandon this console when it can handle just as much if not more than the 720. I can actually see the PS4 library of games being much bigger than the PS3s.
