Calm down. This is only the first year. Their launch is looking pretty solid tbh. Not to mention the launch window. It's getting loads of third party support. If you're expecting God of War 4, gran turismo 7, lbp 3, and uncharted 4 in the first year, you need a reality check. Like all consoles, the ps4 will get its exclusives in the next year or two after launch. (But Killzone and infamous and the third party titles are enough for me to be held over until E3 2014 imo) And if it makes ...
Oh so like 2 and a half men?
@Black-Helghast: Yeah wish it was exclusive too. But hey, if more people can enjoy the game that's always cool. All I know is that KH3 is gonna be EPIC. Disney owns marvel and Lucasfilms now so this should be interesting...
Dude just shut up. It's pretty obvious that they're taking a loss with a price like $399. I'm paying for it because you still get the regular ps plus benefits. You're not ONLY paying to play online like XBL. You still get free games and discounts.
The Sony conference was definitely underwhelming compared to the Microsoft conference. (Games-wise) But I think Sony's E3 was more about selling the PS4 instead about games. (Which proved to be the better choice sense a lot of people are getting a ps4 over the xbone.) Honestly, the only new exclusive they showed was the order. It looked cool and different, but it would have been nice to seem some gameplay. But Sony still won E3 despite the fact that Microsoft came out with the games. Even...
Am I the only one hyped for the order 1886? Why isn't anyone talking about that game? It looks pretty unique and it's made by Santa Monica...
I don't think there's any way to cure the xbone anymore.
Yeah. If they waited for E3 to reveal killzone, infamous, knack, and driveclub, no doubt their E3 would have been better. But they needed games for their console reveal instead of showing a bunch of apps and features. So going all out for the console reveal and only having an average E3 did a lot more for them than doing what Microsoft did, and that's having a terrible console reveal with a pretty good E3. First impressions mean everything, and that's why the ps4 still has positive re...
This basically means ubisoft wants to, but they don't wanna look like the bad guys. I think they're waiting to see if anyone does it first so they arn't the primary scapegoats. And you know EA is just wanking off to this idea so you know they're gonna say yes to used game fees.
Yes.
Looks A LOT like borderlands which isn't a bad thing. And lol doesn't anyone think this gameplay was a little awkward? They were trying so hard to act like they were buddies. Destiny still looks awesome anyway though
Pachter finally gets it right
At this point, Sony's just sh*tting on their grave.
I'm still kind of confused why they put a cover of "heart shaped box" in the trailer. They should have used the actual studio song by nirvana. If they're gonna do a grunge soundtrack with nirvana, alice in chains, soundgarden, etc. (which would be flippin awesome) at least include the original songs. But the gameplay looked badass. With infamous second son and destiny coming out first quarter 2014 and drive club and killzone shadow fall being launch titles, I'm gonna be ...
Nationality has nothing to do with this you prejudice prick.
When Sony announced the price, used games being allowed, no drm, and the crowd starting cheering like crazy...that was easily the best moment in E3 history.
$399, not blocking used games, and no drm is enough for me to call Sony a consumer friendly company. They've done enough. The least we could do for them is to pay for online. (Which their version actually gives us discounts and what not.) I'm supporting it. Because they damn deserve it.
Outside of KH3, FF15, and The Order 1886, it wasn't that great of a conference. But what made Sony win E3 was simply using microsofts cons against them...Displaying some games, but also showing you that this is a pro-consumer console. That alone, IMO, beats ALL of the exclusives that microsoft showed today. Yeah we have to pay for online now, but if that means I still get the same benefits that ps plus has, I'd be more than happy to pay. When they dropped those bombs, that was easily ...
Agreed. It's good to see a different looking console for once instead of just a rectangular box.
Versus 13? Isn't this FFXV now?
