Jokes apart it's not correct to put wrong indications of something that will brick an electronic device, nor it is correct to assume that who have made it was sony trolls, but there is a good chance of if.

I think MS has 2 options:
1 - delay for whatever period of time to come with something next gen - xbone 2;
2 - can only even this fight if make xbone easy to jailbreak.
