I kinda feel they did. The cutscenes during death made me feel a bit sympathetic toward them at times. The way they talked it made me feel like Connor was rushing into situations not fully understanding what was going on. I'm glad they brought back the longer death cutscenes.
Connor on the other hand... I had a hard time connecting to him as opposed to Ezio. It just seemed like he was always pissed at everyone, even potential allies. (like Achilles) It got annoying at tim...
I agree, a lot of cosmetic bugs (which are annoying) but I'm also having several mission breaking bugs. I've had to fast travel out and back so many times. Seems like the 2nd half is much less unpolished than the first.
I'm a diehard ac fan but this game really frustrated at times. I still don't understand a lot of things about trade and my assassins. The whole trading menu is clunky and time consuming. Also, why do I defend sea trade routes if I don't t...
Can you kill them first then start the almanac chase?
Saboteur?
Feudel Japan would be cliche... but so much fun.
Of course...
It's a shame that they're penalized for a slow start... All good stories start off slow and build up speed over the course of the story. If you recall, half life took a good half hour or so until it really picked up. I feel like not enough developers take the time to really build the setting before they jump into the "meat" of the story. Maybe it's just me but I kinda like the stories that start off slow. Anyone else?
I wonder if the reviews came through before the day-one patch.
I remember a few beard clipping issues in AC2 as well but it really didn't ruin the game or anything. I mean that guy was dead in a few minutes anyway so...
Haha Lego lord of the rings and RE6 will be better? Riiiiight. Assassins creed doesn't have to be a stealth game. Id say it's definitely more action-ey than anything.
Uh... We are? I never get these memos...
Yeah those crappy rent-a-servers were the nail in the coffin for me. I just wanted to quick play like I have with every other f**king bfield game to date... and NOT have to filter through a bunch of 24/7 5000 ticket servers run by 12 year olds. Just a shitty move to make more money.
@Aeon Yeah not gonna lie... It was really annoying that they didn't raise the level cap. No idea why they wouldn't.
Yeah I wasn't expecting another full retail game. It's a DLC add-on and as DLC it does what it sets out to do. Variety of new enemies, large new areas to explore, new weapons, new missions and sidequests... what's missing? What were you expecting? Sounds like there are technical issues but, knowing Gearbox, those will be patched. He didn't like it, I get it, but 4.5? Seems harsh.
I don't care either way lol... I'm buying it. Just seemed like a...
4.5? ... Really?
This ^
Lol
Yeah good for them. Glad they didn't sell out like oh any EA game being released... Not every game needs it and not every game should have it.
Love this game! It gets really intense at times! I'm pretty sure the earth is screwed in my current playthrough.
Speaking of physics glitches... Last night was playing a naval battle on AC3 one of the other ships got stuck on some rocks. All of a sudden this huge man o' war was flying through the air flipping end over end. Lol
