I think it's would be good to see as long as it's not forced. The economics in developing games will increase, online marketting will subside development cost so they can spend more money in innovations and more games.

Really waiting for a good true horror games. Resident Evil is more of an action games that a true horror, but RE still fun. Siren, Silent Hill and Fatal Frame, those are true horror.
Looking hollistically at the whole industry in general, it is not dissimilar with the IT industry. I believe the competition is more fierce in the IT market (Dell, Sun, HP, IBM, EMC, HDS, etc etc). I always believe all this companies can achieve the intended results, just using different approach and point of view or marketting.
Seeing this article is actually makes me very sad, not because the immediate impact on gamers, but the whole industry and the global economics in gene...

Still can't get over FF XIII just yet, but i am very optimistic about PS3 future. In a way that SONY stole more 2 exclusives (even timed ones) from XBOX, eg' Bioshock and Eternal Sonata. 2 for Sony and 1 for MS. Does anyone know more ?
