The game is still full of flaws: you can't shoot through windows, you can access balconys but you cannot leave them again, there are 3" high "things" on the maps where you can't walk over, you still cannot throw grenades with your left hand and the list goes on! The game is not good. Don't buy it without renting it before! Be sure, you can get along with all the flaws!
Forza looks like CG, GT looks like reality! But thats not important. The feel of the games will make the difference and I am really sure how huge ther difference will be.
After all it's not so smart to compare the two. Compare Forza to NfS Shift if you want, but not with Gran Turismo!
Let's wait and we will see what happens in Japan with FF XIII and what happens in Europe when they launch GT 5!
And btw who cares what place they will turn out this gen? As PS 3 owner you are able to play the best console games this gen, and so many AAA+++ exclusives are allready in devellopment!

I love the XMB! It is perfect! Integrate more features and it will still be simple to access.
The look of the XMB is plain and not like a playroom. It is colourful if I want that and it's b&w when i prefer that.

The list is OK, but it's certainly more the list of today's most favorite male game characters and their voice actors.
for getting my BBE again, I have to say, that it would really annoy me to see and hear the popping in for trophies in this wonderful game. All in all I would appreciate if SONY gave us the choice if we want to see and hear it when we acquire trophies while playing the game. In a game like let's say Motorstorm it doesn't bother me when I hear that chord, but in a game like MGS 4 I would be disturbed by that sound and that trophy info covering my solid eye radar.
I think everybody with a brain and/or who took a minute time to calculate the loss of sales Activision would make taking that step, would have recognized this so called threat as humbug!
anybody who does not recognize the PS 3's worth has my pity.
and anybody who want's the PS 3 to drop to 200$ is on drugs and misses a great time with some of the best games ever made.

Price cut or not, Xmas will bring me my third PS 3! Still haven't one in my bureau. But I hope, that they won't cut the price. It would be a shame if the most powerfull and beautyfull console would be as cheap as the useless Wii.

It's simply impossible to argue about MGS with people that don't love Kojimas style. I can't get enough of that game played it 9 times and playing MGO as often as possible. I like the cut scenes and i appreciate the break from gaming just watching blockbuster movie quality cut scenes. MGS 3 and 4 are my favorite games over all but I can understand that people don't like Kojimas style. For us fans it's embarassing when they complain about the cut scenes, but that's just their personal taste. ...
Plus they gave us the best motion control available today. The Sixaxis feature is so much underrated. It's by far more precise than the Wiimote. It's half @ss implemented in most of the games, but if you are used to it it's amazing to play Motorstorm PR with it.
Nudity is nothing without boob physics.
on MGS 4 was a stealth run and got skorpion without any reloading, not very impressive but not bad either. But I think giving people the choice how to play a game does not make the game less stealthy.
