Am not sold on Vita, what they should have done is had 1st parties make new IPs for the vita. They should have used Vita as hub for their fan base to play PS1-PS2-PSP on it & updated some of them so they look sweet on vita graphics.
Personally I think it needed it's very own games to establish it self. JMT (Even when one's neutral their always seem to be a Parasite fan boy who butt hurt waiting to disagree)
The only way I see both doing it , is when the industry as a whole wants it to happen. but ultimately used game market will cease to exist just a matter of when .
The one that are retail are paid off, the one that are XBL have points waiting to be used. So am all set.

Was trying to do a platform, developer count of all the racing games coming & failed badly so I gave up.

@crusadernm was going to defend you, but your comment is a mess. they were never theirs ,they made a series of games for Sony & after they had done their last game they wanted to venture outside of one platform routine while maintain ownership of the created IP. So they negotiated a Publishing deal w/ EA for one game I think or depending how this one works out . Had nothing to do with hardware, more to do with trying something new & most importantly ownership.

They support Windows PC with software , Just not what everyone wants. besides making the console games available on PC defeats the console concept for them & why would the want to close a revenue stream for them.
