Sony was always about spreading the Playstation brand to as many countries as possible. It helps keep a healthy growth for the brand for years to come. relying on certain regions of the world is never good for a business. You have to think worldwide. That's why Playstation always has so many different types of games to play.
Nintendo has to convince me hard to buy an NX after making the Wii and Wii U.

Once a Playstation console gain momentum it's hard to take market share away from it. Just look at the PS1 and PS2.
I haven't even subscribed to PS+ yet I have no reason to but I don't hate it. I have all single player focused games for my PS4. I've always preferred single player outside of maybe a fighter here or day or a shooter withs some online. To me Playstation is all about those great single player games you can't find elsewhere BUT that's not to look down on those who prefer online gaming. They can get catered to as well.

That's why it's best to avoid the internet while playing a new game sometimes. Just to have an open mind. Especially to avoid these PC master race baiters.
One of the reasons why I prefer consoles. Just can't beat that plug and play benefit.
