lol your right but pop on ps2 was pretty epic this new ibe aint so hot... i wish theyd done it right like something open world much bigger with tons of fighting... Instead of this hold your hand cant die all scripted one on one fights with the same small handful of enemies with endless backtracking thru the same old map run jump swing along the same super linear paths over n over again...
Not giving us an ending on top of all that really sucks...

sorry man 17 hours off on my reply but if you read it i just wanted to say I dont agree that there's nothing parents can do. As a parent i wouldnt let my pre teen kid have access to online without supervision ie no box in the bedroom. And b4 they do get that freedom (13-14 depending on the kid) its our job to make sure our kids are properly educated on what they can a cant do on the web. And even then as a realist i know we'll have to supervise them now and then...

we got it and its killed the pop series dead. Cant die all scripted 1 on 1 fights super repetitive. Cant even die on a boss fight n all fight r exactly the same. You can take on a boss put down your joystick (without pausing) n come back in an hour and your still alive. Whats more the same small handful of enemies just keep appearing over n over again. Then theres the running back n forth n back again over the same obvious routes. Run jump swing use generic jump pad x repeat.

as for why i hate it its not so much the elika saving you when you fall thing its that they carried it over to fights and whats more made the fighting a snore fest. That and i was really hopping for a real next gen title not this kinda fixed path no variety sorta gameplay...

cant die cell shaded graphics r alright tho they do manage to stutter at times and all one on one scripted battles. 5 hours in and i cant bring myself to play anymore. Run here jump here swing here repeat repeat repeat... Hell even the fights are all the same guy cept for the bosses that...

we got this game not long ago put in about 5 hours and its already a chore to play.
this is nothing like any of the other pop games all scripted one on one fight and whats more you cant die! N the world for all its pretty colours is nothing more than a series of conveniently placed hook jump pads n crap to make you waste time between scripted fight a and identical fight b (plus the odd boss fight wich are all also scripted). the games nothing like any of the other pop games just holds your hand way 2 much. Nothing less immersive either I mean the whole game is just a series of run n jump obstacles. Pretty enough sure but you can tell they took the easy way out with the cell shading graphics. n fighting gimped beyond belief a you cant die b only one guy at a time all scripted.

any clue on how to get them to replace it they say they want 120 to 'fix' it. On the plus side pops is finally going to buy a ps3. Says he wont buy another 360 sigh feel bad for him tho hes got tons of games and has bought several multiples cause of scratching. So any help to get this fixed on the ms side would b cool.
