Resolution is part of it. Even if this game actually released in 8k it will still look so bad. Why? Because of this game is packed with bad models, shallow textures, outdated lighting andpathetic filters. Some old games on PC still looks amazing in 1080p only because of amazing detailed textures. You know what forgot about PC with expensive GPU, even Hoizon Zero Dawn looks million light years better than this on base PS4 which probably barely hits 1080p. Again why? All their games looks amazing even in Low Budget game (Trails of Mana), Beta (Realm Reborn), Demo ( FFXV very first Demo from Type 0), early Trailers (Kingdom Hearts 3). Especially, the Japanese sector, they are superb.

Look at Square Enix they releases their games on tons of platforms and still almost no issues, even for Switch/Vita,PSP/DS and mobile games. Why? Tbh, I agree that the game have good battle system. However, everything else is just pathetic, the world designs, the level settings, the whole lightings, models, assets, performance, the general atmosphere and party members are all poorly done and not a thing that I would call a quality game. This won't be agood game at all uness they invest more quality development and canceling last gen, so naturally delay it to 2023. Or just by cancelling last gen make them more focusing in do more in less consoles. Last gen support should be not a thing for such title, because the impact would be real, especially we are talking here about Ninja and Koei Tecmo, which are well known for poor graphics releases.

For a second I thought it say PS Vita. But of course not Sony dropped the support since year 1 and because it is the only device that I got before the official release so of course that would fail.
The game has almost zero issues other than that which really make it up. I hope the game get more appreciated by newcomers, because other than the fuss about the stortelling and new events, the game does really amazing job in gameplay, themes, settings, graphics, variety in almost everythingand fun factor.
I remember one data searcher looked up in VIIR files and discover that the door is build on a whole or something like totally tied up with the whole game, which means the area suppose to load as it is and if there is an deatil is missing it can't be fixed by a patch but by rearrange the whole game to download it all over again to fix the door, some metal boards and floors + the background of floating plate and the background of seeing the slams from above.
You are talking about Japanese sci fi they do this all the time, your character can kill something 100× bigger than you, but you can't walk on the bath that is block by a single dam desk.
But this is nothing compared to GOW, I mean Kratos killed and break the invincibles, but yeah he can't over 3 meter to the dock :)
Open world game!!! Best!!! Ultimate Spider Man, Horizon Zero Dawn, Yakuza 0, Forza Horizon 3, GTA V, GTA SA and Marvel Spider Man are all better in most of stuff.
RDR2 sure great but for those who like over realstic and slow experience.

Zelda didn't innovate a thing. It just people are very happy (nostlagia affect) with it being recent Zelda with real open world and HD. BoTW not even a good Zelda game, a lot of action RPGs are mile betters. It is just to a plain game.

Good game is a good game from first the second till the credit. Like Final Fantasy VII Remake, It's takes two, GOT, GOW, Forza Horizon 4, Super Smash Ultimate etc. You don't need any second thoughts or explorations. Games like Assasin, Watch Dogs, Need For Speed, Battlefield etc... will always be bad and feels clunky, underdeveloped and boring.
People are arguing about anything even about shit. This game is literally getting 5s everywhere and peope questioning about 3.5.
Once a game is from Ubisoft we deduct 2 points for the name only. Without mentioning as always being repetitive, comes with bugs,l and tons of errors, flat plots, boring storytelling and pointless open world.
