Being Nintendo fan is never been cheap at all. Unless CFW comes into the scene. They are least powerful, the least efficient, the most expensive games that barely gets discounts, the hardware is always @MSRP tag price, the quality is the least. Never been up to the technology neither in hardware or software just gimmicks.
So this is the last gen to buy games at day one (even rarely). $70 is a lot of money and £70 even more for half games with tons of DLCs and MTs and huge patches. If most games will be as The Witcher 3, GOW, Horizon, Persona 5 and SpiderMan, Forza Horizon in term of quality then maybe yeah it is worth it. But we all knows that most games will more like Need For Speed, Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Assassin Creed.
Is this supposed to be their "immersive" first person? Call of Duty MW2 and Bad Company 2 -which are so old and basic games- yet felt much immersive than this (even in trailers).
The driving feels like Crysis or Battlefield 3 maybe? Watch Dogs? 2077 and can't even fly and super things as cyber? Just accessing records and have fancy guns? Maybe will get great game but not as great as The Witcher 3, we have yet to see. Personally, gonna wait for the next gen v...

I do have feeling that sony is going to treat Ps4 as a Xbox Series S.
However, sony did also treated PS3 very well with great support even Persona 5 (the best JRPG) released on PS3 and they dropped the Plus support very late. Let see if PS4 gonna hold on.

1. Hardly develop gameplay.
2. Tweaks things and destroy others.
3. Very large patches.
4. Bad servers.
5. Minimum visual effects.
6. The innovator and the importer of DLC, Denuevo. MT, Online code etc.
7. Collector edition without games.
8. Childish gamers base.
9. Very demanding and poorly optimized on any platform.
10. Very mediocre.
Especially for Christmas will be like wow a bundle of Xbox one X with couple of games for $299 wow!!!
I like how they put "dynamic 4k and so on", of course it is Ubisoft as vauge as ever then boom a mediocre game that will be be on sales and so cheap.

This is the most scray thing, I can't care less about Ray Tracing it is purely gimmick for current stage. Who knows, maybe it will becomes a real thing after couple of years or just die as always off option to get better fps?
However, the real 4k/30 fps looks so hard on PS5 and it just launching titles that based on current gen. I hoped for pro to focus on 1080p/60fps and PS5 becomes 1440p/60fps or at least 1440p/30 fps with high/ultra settings. 4k seems very hard espec...
Sites won't allow it. They tend to decrease score intentionally unless the game called "COD" or Nintendo's Zelda and Mario.
That is a new kind of "went gold" you know, the kind that need delays, optimizations, day one huge patch, and overall 30gb updates.

In that term you are so wrong, Japanese doesn't care about Nihon manufactured products or American. But they do care about gimmicks, RPGs, and a lot of options. Which definitely Xbox is being the exact opposite, very formal UI, very narrowed launch titles, rarely ever scene RPGs and no likes the idea they postponed Yakuza of PS5. Microsoft is too shady to be sold in Japan.
