Why would they not be able to use BR? A PS3's BR drive also reads dvd's & cd's so it is possible to update the 360 drive to BR and everyone will still be able to play their current games on dvd and any new games that releases on BR.
I usually agree with what Dave has to say, but he is way way off base on this one. DLC = DOWNLOADABLE content, not content locked on the disc.
AW was 1 of the few titles I bought for my 360 last year and I loved it. This definitely should have either been a PS3 exclusive of multiplat game and it would have sold much much better for Remedy. Hopefully the MS money offset the crappy sales of a close to 6 years in development game.
I personally won't buy this just because it is Capcom! They have been the biggest Scumbags this gen when it comes to locking content so they can charge us extra for the full game.
This will be the 1st HD re-releases that I won't buy. I already have the Sly Collection, GOW collection & the POP trilogy. I also have the team ico, Splinter Cell & TR collections preordered.
So basically Capcom has lost a 30+ year customer for being a complete scum...
While I really like both series UC & TR, I prefer the emphasis on the puzzles in TR to the shooting in UC.
The original TR is still my favorite all time game.
I always have preferred a Female protagonist. Lara Croft, Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, etc etc....
When given the choice while creating a character I always create a female character a few examples would be FO3, FO: NV and WKC.
So I like the idea of having a female character in the GeOW game. Hopefully she won't look like an over steroided hulk like the rest of the GeOW cast does. I personally hate that look.
this is exactly why I stopped supporting Capcom in anyway after the butcher job they did to RE5 and then the BS with the locked MP that they charged extra for.
I like dirty awkward jokes personally so I should enjoy this game.
Any Capcom DLC or I should say unlock key for content already on the disc. Made me stop buying Capcom games all together, the last Capcom game I bought was RE5.
Gearbox knows how to do DLC, Capcom should learn from them what DLC is all about.
I know I do and that is all I care about.
Good for Sony glad they won the suit and too bad for the MS faithful/fanboys who were hoping things went LG's way.
Maybe if they gave it a longer development period, but this rush job for a yearly release has really taken it's toll on the series.
That is why I am predominately a PS gamer and use the other consoles as back-ups or a change of pace. There are just to many games available only on the PS platform to overlook if you are a core gamer.
That is what I paid when I preordered it with a $20.00 credit from a previous preorder. Eventually I will get around to playing it.
this game is tied for my most anticipated game of 2011 along with The Last Guardian. I've been waiting patiently for a new TM since I finished playing TM:B back on the PS2.
doesn't every military/space marine shooter have a generic sterotype type of a story? They do to me. If you want something different you need to play shooters like Bioshock and The Darkness to name a few.
The reason the PC guys get the heat on this stuff is because that is where all the hackers came from and learned to do what they do. jmo
Isn't this a fall title now? I could have sworn it was pushed to September or October instead of March or April. Either way I have the collection preordered and TLG in my wish list waiting for a actual release day before I preorder it.
A demo would be nice but not needed as far as I am concerned. With Team Ico making the game you can almost guarantee a classic in the making....
would depend on the price, the game and the developer. I will be getting the Beyond Good & Evil HD remake and that is stand a stand alone title. The reason I also mention developer is because say Capcom were to release a HD collection of a game, they would probably sell you the original game and the charge for the HD update as a DL or something.
because they actually put their heart & soul into the game and always make a very emotional unique gaming experience. Unlike the COD type devs of the world who shovel out the same crap every year.
