Why not, the PS3 is still going strong today and it's not like third party devs like Ubisoft don't have anything to aim towards on the console....it's not like they've maxed it out and done as much as they can with it
If I saw a Ubisoft game, exclusive or not, which was up to the same standards as God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Last of Us, Heavy Rain etc then fair enough but they still could of aimed towards something this gen. If you get what I mean

They could of avoided all this if they didn't say anything. It's not like they NEED people to pre order DLC and get people hyped up for it....that's something you would do to the game it's self.

What about if they used the cut content which wasn't good....made it good by fixing their mistakes and then sell it. We wouldn't be any of the wiser, I mean when developing and you have a deadline it could be as simple as "Yeah just cut that for now it's not good, we'll correct it later when we do DLC or something"

True...it has become all about chasing the 9 scores instead of listening to fans....that and the fact they chase after the so called COD crowd which ruins their games.
So Capcom dosen't cut things from the disc or lock them despite people finding evidence of this on the disc.
