I was thinking about that....so will the animus still be a part of AC4. I mean I havent finished AC3 yet but I know "you know who" is gone
They can't say his story is over then bring him back for a main titled game it wouldn't make sense
Plus having an entire game without an out of the animus break who seem too much for me
I thought the whole point of the subtitles was to give us new titles with the same engine and then show us the jump in gameplay/graphics etc in the main title games.
This is going to look so out of place in the series. Reminds me of Mission Impossible....you had Mission Impossible 1-3 then all of a sudden Ghost Protocol

Fans gave them a way out with the Indoctrination Theory, if they did that they could of started over, Shepard wakes up after being hit by Harbingers laser and would finish the fight in one last epic DLC. We would still be ticked off about the ending and the fact the real ending is DLC but at least then the whole Casper the friendly ghost thing and all the other plot holes, A TON still not addressed in the Epilogue DLC wouldn't exist.

I just don't get it in a way, I'm not saying it dosen't look good but if we had a game which copied something else it would be marked down for not being original and being the "same old" stuff we've seen before.

I think they used old IPs to gain an install base on the PS4...once they are out the way (Killzone, inFAMOUS, a new Uncharted, maybe Resistance) then the studios will move onto new IPs.
They are basicaly using old IPs aswell to test out the PS4 hardware so there new IP looks even more impressive
But when you know for a fact you can get more from one console why wouldn't you want that
Fair enough if KH and KH2 had both been on the Gamecube but they wernt they were PS2 games.
If we've been waiting this long for KH3 then I want it to take advantage of what the PS4 has to offer. It's pretty obvious the Wii U will restrict them since compared to the PS4 it's weak.
I don;t think it would die out, MS would just turn the Xbox console into a Entertainment box and go from there. They would probably just leave the gaming business but would still bring out the odd game like Halo, Gears, Alan Wake for gaming sales.
