I know I think people are still stuck in the past and let nostalgia get in the way when Lara was the platforming queen. However when he games decreased in quality and Nathan Drake came into the picture it changed things.

The game is amazing but it's not Tomb Raider...it's what I don't understand. Wouldn't you need to be like the old games and what the franchise was about "raiding tombs" b...

If it wasn't a Tomb Raider game (which in my opinion it isn't as it plays nothing like one) and she wasn't called Lara Croft we wouldn't be getting articles like this.

They said Lilith and co became NPCs so you can learn about their past and give them character development but to be honest we didn't really learn much about them still.
I think Gearbox were too lazy to do character development and have them as a main character. I mean it's not that hard....Gordon Freeman for example has a backstory and character development while being the main character and he never speaks.

I just couldn't....it was boring, repetitive and a step back for the franchise. I honestly bought into the hype with these perfect review scores flying around then I was totally let down by it.
I didn't feel like there was enough freedom while playing
Not to mention the fact you couldn't play with your classic controler and were forced to play with the motion controls just all seemed like a step back.
Why do non of these interviews actually start pushing the questions they probably don't want to hear. Like how the always online thing is crap and it's ruined SimCity....or how they should make it offline.
Didn't they say they were going with the style we saw in Skyward Sword for the next Zelda game.....shame because I'd rather have the one in the tec demo or even the darker ton Twilight Princess gave us

I don't see why they don't keep new characters for the next game...unless they are going to use the old vault hunters <SPOILERS>.....after that ending when the three of them are looking at the map they seemed interested to go vault hunting again.

It seems the three vault hunters from the first game have something new about them. Brick has a new melee weapon, Lilith has new powers ...

See I disagree highly there, it's such a dumbed down, inferior game compared to past dmc titles and the awful plot, the horrible characters and their designs drags the game down even more.
The combat has nothing over past games especially when in this game you can get an S rank by mashing the same buttons over and over again....without skill it's not really dmc is it.
This is happening alot to old franchises this gen
Most are ruined.....however the ones which are actually good games like Tomb Raider or Max Payne 3 end up not feeling like their past installments and what the franchise is about....basicaly they could be renamed and you wouldn't even know.
So in the end you either have an old ruined franchise like dmc, FF13, RE6 or have a good game but not one that lives up to the franchises name.
Or the ones who add it to their multiplayer when it dosen't suit it

Compared to Uncharted 2 and how simple it was Uncharted 3 is just not the same. Kickbacks, weapon mods, HAT mods, paid boosters, upgradable boosters, loadouts....all trying to be like COD.
They have classic mode I know but it's still not the same. The AK is off compared to the one in Uncharted 2 and the fact people still can use paid boosters....
