Shame because they'll never learn

Great ¬¬

Thats all EA is going to take away from that

"You guys do realise that it was a failure at launch because of the no offline thing, got worse reviews then past titles and some fans felt it was stripped of some features which made past sim city games so good"

"...yeah but it sold a lot"

"but"

"...Money, Money, Money"

Every old IP this gen which gets a new instalment ends up being nothing like what the franchise is about

Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Max Payne, Tomb Raider, Splinter Cell etc

I never called Tomb Raider crap or anything like that before it's release so you know. I might of said it looks like Uncharted and not like what TR is about but it's true, so it's not like I pulled that one out of thin air

I don't see why your getting so defensive when people criticize something you like. Why can't you just let people have their opinions and move on, it's not going to ruin the game for you.

The only games I've call...

True

It's not anymore realistic then what Nathan Drake does

It's like nobody has played the old Tomb Raider games in a long time...forgetting what made Tomb Raider....Tomb Raider.

Same thing happened with the dmc reboot, people forgot what made the franchise so good and they (reviewers) praised the reboot when it was inferior to the last instalment (DMC4) despite the fact sequels/new instalments are supposed to improve with each insta...

Oh you mean SR3.5....I highly, highly doubt it

GTAV is going to blow SR3.5 out the water

"Tomb Raider bypasses this issue for the most part by setting up smaller encounters that allow the player to handle the situation as they see fit. You can pick enemies off one by one, you can set up an ambush or you can run in guns a-blazin’ if you want."

Smaller....hardly. They were still pretty big when you look at them

So it's fine for a totally non experienced women to survive wave after wave of enemies AND <SPOILER> the bloody great ...

@Mike

Here we go again...Mike wanting to go off topic so he can have a dig at me. How immature.

@Pekolie

Why...I enjoyed the game, I liked it but people are acting like it was perfect. I'm sick of old franchises becoming a shadow of their former selfs, if thats the case you may aswell create a new IP.

@Imalwaysright

So?

It still focused more on exploring and puzzles...rather then anything this TR does. It's wave after wave of enemies and the tombs are optional.

So true

COD or dmc for example are ones that have probably been bought off someway, the dmc reviews don't make sense half the time. While FF13, GTA4, RE5 were because of hype and we got sucked into it aswell.

4763d ago 0 agree4 disagreeView comment

It was a third person puzzle game with shooting elements. Shooting wasn't a focus in the old Tomb Raider games, exploring and the puzzles were.

If they keep this up it's going to look like a poor mans Uncharted.

Can't wait for them to somehow mess Battlefield 4 up....they'll find a way

4763d ago 12 agree3 disagreeView comment

They have turned into right arrogant b*******

Yeah you can produce some fancy graphics but the gameplay in Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 was average at best, the story was, the animations were etc

Maybe if they got their head out of Microsofts ass Crysis 2 and 3 could of been better.

Hopefully

"however the story line will probably take place in another supposed deserted island or in some mysterious place inhabited by tribes"

No...I'd rather have her back to raiding Tombs across the world.

I want this game to actually feel like a TR game again. I'll give the first one the benefit of the doubt but if they don't manage to capture TR charm from the old days then I'll know it's turned into another...

@DragonKnight

Someone gets it

This is why in my eyes this is not AC4 but basicaly a filler

<Spoilers>

You don't end the last game with Juno being set free to take over the world and not even focus on the present for the next, apparent, main title AC game.

4764d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

lol...so true

You can tell that as time goes on and we get to AC5 or AC6 they will even start bribing gaming sites.

"Do you think they will start to realise that we are doing too much AC and are milking it to death"

"Naaah....just give them some free stuff and they'll be fine"

4764d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

Your joking right....they have had plenty of time to change things

Even the stuff they showed off were just from very old builds of the game.

"The amount of people warming up to this game makes me happy!"

Where are you looking...

People have a right to think that because by looking at FUSE it dosen't look like a game Insomniac would make. The reason people go on about Overstrike so much despite only seeing a teaser is because the style and humor used fit something they would make more then FUSE.

You can tell aswell that like so many other games under EA, that they wer...
