I know where your coming from but for a JRPG game he was pretty good in my opinion and I mean a JPRG where they have voice actors. Most games have came off cheesy when it comes to voice acting, look at Blue Dragon or even Cooke and Mac in Lost Odyssey but Jansen was pretty funny with the game being pretty serious at times.
His relationship with Ming as well was nice to watch as well, he kind of changed because of it through out the game.

Urgh...imagine all those women joining N4G
All they'll be talking about is Wine, chocolates, b****** at work and weight watchers, more then games themselves
My favourite would be Lost Odyssey...it was the real Final Fantasy 13 game for me. Good characters, good voice acting, the music was amazing, the theme music was better, the battle system was good (can't beat turn based). I could go on...
Plus Jansen was hilarious...one of the best characters in a JRPG for me
I know right
To be honest a "real" gamer would buy a game if it didn't have multiplayer since most older gamers before this gen were used to good, long, solid single player games.
Oh my god theres another one....I thought they had gave up on this franchise.
....no.......well they should of
I really don't understand why some people can't accept this....instead of being mad at Nintendo for making an actual next gen console they try to cover it up like everything is fine.
Then Nintendo fanboys have the cheek to say your a "Nintendo hater" or "You don't like Nintendo" when all your doing is pointing something out.
I don't even see how it's a " different metal gear game"
If thats the case why call it Metal Gear Solid V, he should of done a reboot if that's the case.
If it is then why the hell is David not voicing Snake then...if its hi last let him voice Snake.
So he did it for nothing
Wht the f***
Fair enough if he changed the japanese voice actor or a reboot but they havent done that
Japanese developers are so out of touch with their fanbase.
If Solid Snake ever came back I would like David to be Snake.....but all Snakes from here on out...no just no.
I think the point of the ending was to show that there are many worlds out there and that Rapture was a one where either Columbia's influence rubbed off on Andrew Ryan or a world where Columbia never happened but Rapture was born later because Columbia's non existence.
The thing is though Fink got the ideas of Vigors from a tear possibly from Rapture, whether it was a future tear or an alternative tear you'll never know.
I'm glad about this en...
I'd say 75% are male. Yes theres female gamers and they might of grown in recent years, thanks to the Wii in 2006 but core gaming, before all this casual/mobile crap, is still down to males and targeted to them the most.
It's always been like that, males were the target audience when the industry first established it's self and the ones in the industry were probably all male.
Funny how this has happened after Sony revealed more details about the PS4 at GDC this week
Well least he gets to keep Anna in the end and start over going by the post credits scene.
I love how Rapture was a version of Columbia from one of millions of worlds...a world where the Variables are so differnt.
Who know what kind of city is next....maybe a one hidden and built into moutains or even an island city....whatever is next it will start with a light house.
The only thing I don't get though is, is the whole going to a lost cit...
I feel it's laziness in my opinion
With Metal Gear Solid 3 is was kind of needed since we needed to know more about Big Boss but that should of been it. It's why I'm not sure about MGS5 being another prequel...a PSV game fair enough or a non number game for consoles, that would be fine.
I want to see what happens to Arkham City or what happened with the Joker
Imagine if he tried to sell us two parts of one game lol
I don't think so Kojima...
I wouldn't say Mario Galaxy 2, I would rather go with the first one. Thats the one which made you go "WOAH...this is amazing, Mario, Space...OMG and look at those pretty environments"
The second one was more or less the same....it was basicaly cut levels made into a new game. If Nintendo did DLC thats what Mario Galaxy would of gotten.
Leats with Uncharted there was a massive leap between the first game and the second.
I agree
Fantastic game but is very over rated....by that I mean people saying things like this.
It's nothing which we havent seen before, we saw most of this in the first Bioshock.
Uncharted 2 for me would be game of this gen
See I thought that but it doesn't make sense when the Japanese voice actor that voiced young Big Boss is voicing him still.
So it's a prequel....lame
Why do developers do this...they do two games, write themselfs into a corner then do prequels. Those games should be left to handhelds or a brand new trilogy.
Find a way to keep the franchise going forward
No one is saying it's horrible though, they just don't see it as appealing as other next gen platforms something people want to get across to Nintendo who have obviously tried to go with the casual route again despite them saying they want full core support with third parties. How are they supposed to achieve this though when devs don't want to treat it as a next gen console.
First FrostBite Engine 3 (Battlefield, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, new IPs), now Unreal Engi...
