Hyped derailed. If it is in episodic...which it is by the sound of it, then that is a terrible decision by Square Enix.
Also, I don't like how they are re making the game more real time action oriented instead of the traditional turn based formula that the game was famous for.
Dude...many Sony fans are known to defend Sony at any turn to the very end regardless of outcome. Just take a look at all those PS2 BC/emulation articles where you can't use PS2 disc or carry over Ps3's PS2 digital classic titles and being rip of at outrageous price. So If what you saying is true, then it isn't surprising to say the least.
The excuse of why MS is not charging for their version of Emulation/BC is because they are behind and why Sony is Charging is because they are ahead is silly.
If that is the case, then Why didn't MS charge for Windows 10 upgrade and allow free upgrades to previous windows owners when they had a monopoly on PC OS? And Why do Nintendo always have free BC in every one of their portable Handheld systems when they are dominating that sector as well?

The differences is Wii sports came with the Wii system itself. Even if there is an equivalent Wii Sports game on PSVR, you also need to buy a PS4 in addition to the VR Headset that cost the same as the console itself. That is a big hurdle and maybe too costly for many gamers.

Microsoft have a monopoly in PC OS and somehow they gave away windows 10 upgrade for free so why wouldn't they do the same with allowing BC at no extra fee regardless of where they are position in the console war? The fact is they are and Sony is not so these "what if" scenarios are pointless.

Transfer and play... Wii owners who have already downloaded a title can transfer them to their Wii U consoles and play them in Wii Mode at no charge.

The worst decision that came of of this is not giving gamers that had already bought the games either via disc or digital on PS3 to transfer over. They can still charge their $15 for those games on the store for people that don't already have the games and still would make some money while also making PS fans that already purchased those games feel happy about their initial investment. Beyond 2 Souls HD. $30 for a 2 year old single player interactive game is not a great deal for customers. Heavy Rain should be added as a collection with it.
