Lol, I have seen and played PSVR at the
PSX over this past weekend so yes, having seen and played, VR IMO is still years away

Competiton is good for all of us. We get Sony to permanently drop $50 in Oct , then we have MS offerimg $299 XB1 with a free game and $60 gift card over Black Friday weekend and now Sony is offering both the UC and Battlefront bundles at $299 for a brief period.
This also allow me to bought a brand new a Wii U for $250 to play Xenoblade X. Well done competition.
Right on Flex. Totally agreed.
Good, new IP is always welcome.
All consoles are great. No right or wrong answer. I have all three and all are worth it IMO.
It all comes down to how much you value things like gaming selection, features, and price, etc. Again, there are no right or wrong answer to it but it is up to the gamer to decides for themselves what is important to them.
I think you are missing my point when I said "VR and AR are not there yet for ACTUAL GREAT gaming experience."
The word "GREAT" is the key word of my post. It is like saying he is a football player vs he is a great football player. You get my drift?
From what we have seen so far, and especially the games shown at PSX, we are still years away from actual great gaming experience on headset reality devices.
"Santa Monica showed that game they teased. It's Bounds"
-That is why people are disappointed. Instead of announcing GOW4 or a new core IP, they essentially announced they are making Crazy Taxi with Zombie and only for VR.
"No one said Sony bend was gonna be there"
-yes there were. 3860d ago 8 agree13 disagreeView comment
I have been saying for the longest that these headset devices like VR and AR are not there yet for actual great gaming experience.
This is a great step for MS IMO and how Hololens should be marketed and use and gaming will be a bonus. It is no different than PC in its early years when the price was steep, people use it for work, research, and productivity but eventually gaming will come and be a viable sector due to more adaptation and advancement in the tech. No doubt we wi...
The problem is 2K16's Stephen Curry is actually not as good as real life Curry.
Warriors win and the streak will continue.
It us definitely disappointing when you factor in all the hype, insider leaked that Santa Monica, Bend, and PS 4.0 with features many people wanted will be there, and overall the amount of hype article and comments made by PS fans.
Here are a few quotes from excited PS fans that expected big announcements from PS at PSX.
"I expect 1 or 2 bombs to be dropped at PSX this year like the SF5 bomb that was dropped last year. Only a month to go till PSX&q...
@S2Killini,
"these articles started popping up right before the PSX. put two and two together."
And whose fault is that? Sony was the one releasing info regarding PS2 emulation/BC on PS4 2 days before PSX and Yoshida even answered these questions WHEN ASKED BY PS4 GAMERS ABOUT DISC BASED AND PS2 CLASSIC DIGITAL COMPATIBILITY on his Twitter account. What do you think was going to happened regarding these articles about the direction Sony is taking in...
Thanks. I am here to help and post reality of the current gaming scene and I'll give praise and credit when they deserved to be praise, for ALL consoles and gaming companies, and be critical of things that I see as negative towards the gaming industry such as the ongoing debate regarding Backward Compatibility and the ability to still play games we currently owned without having rebuy them all over again, for example.
Christopher, the title of the arricle was talking about first party published games of 2015. Both Driveclub and Halo MCC were published in 2014 and Killzone SF was 2 years ago.
Also, I agreed the the GOW3 HD is bare bone but in terms of gameplay and as a game itself, it is much better than either The Order or Beyond 2 Souls. But is definitely in my top 5 or worst 1st party published games of 2015 along with Deveil's Third on Wii U and Screamride on XB1.
"so that makes you horribly off-topic (be honest, here - you've not played the order or beyond 2 souls, you just listed them to down talk playstation...)"
LoL, Ziggercat, did you even read the article? Both The Order 1886 and Devil's third are on there. I think I am perfectly on-topic. FACE palm!
And how do you explain my constant praise for Sony Published games like Bloodborne and Uncharted 4 if what you are saying is true about me always ...
Love Yoshida..always telling it like it is. No BS around from him just like he took time recently to correctly answered everyone's FAQ regarding digital and disc based support of the new PS2 emulator initiative. So no doubt he is telling the truth about SOCOM and Crash which is unfortunate, as many people, including myself are hoping for new releases of those fan favorite franchises.
Guyman, if Then orders and beyond 2 Souls Are not first party game, then what do you called Bloodborne in which I constant praised as one of the best games I'd played this year? That would leave Sony with nothing first party this year if you are going to play that first party definition game. Anyways, this piece is about first party published game and Sony published those games just like Nintendo is publishing Devil's third and MS is the publisher of Ryse. LoL
Some information regarding the multidisc has surfaced and it doesnt sound so doom and gloom afterall BUT there are still unknown info and some concerns with it still.

@ScaReCrow90,
Good point about those smaller console exclusives and Fable Legend. More games and diversity for Xbox in addition to the retail AAA games I'd just listed.
2016 looks like the true "Greatest lineup in Xbox History" for sure.
